I personally think Dream On by Aerosmith would be great for a highlight of great meaningful wrestling moments like the oh so famous Foley off cage through table spot. Dream on I think is the ultimate wrestling video package song. Promote this thread! | | JST

| #5 Posted on 8.7.02 2349.08 Reposted on: 8.7.09 2358.17 | Okay, I'll waste my one-hundreth post on this suggestion: even though I really like Stasiak's Devoesque entrance music, they ought to switch it to Greg Lake and Gary Moore's version of King Crimson's "Twenty First Century Schizoid Man".
Not that it really had anything to do with the topic, but I was listening to it over the weekend and thought of using if for him.
Maybe they could do a montage of Rob Conway, Ron Dinsmore, Shannon Moore, and Randy Orton, set to "Who Are You" by the Who. They can license the original. Anybody can get the rights to a Who song. Hell, the guy who cuts my grass has licensed a Who song.

It's being used in the PPV ads for "Vanilla Sky", and was used in some of the theatrical ads for said movie. It's the one with the backward guitars, but they edited out one hell of a freak-out. Maybe even use the ending of that, which fades into "The Private Psychedelic Reel" on the album (Dig Your Own Hole), as a PPV-ending, Raw/SD-opening package.
But yeah, "Bittersweet Symphony" would be a great one... anyone who doesn't buy it and hasn't seen the WM14 package, watch the end of "Cruel Intentions" (no, really) and tell me it doesn't make the perfect closing soundtrack.
And for the record, I don't see anything wrong with the thread... maybe rename it to reflect its wrestling content? | Jackson

Ya know, I hope so and after this comment the hammer might smack me upside the head but I got to say it.
When we were warned about an impending influx of new posters, why didn't you tell us they were coming from an AOL chat room?
If any new poster is offended by this then good. That means you are probably one of the ones I am talking about. To the rest of the new guys - glad to have you here. I am not even talking about m2k_2002 here. This is just where I decided to vent. In short, enough with the Best/Worst lists already. | WyldeWolf1

| #11 Posted on 10.7.02 1611.20 Reposted on: 10.7.09 1614.00 | Most Metal songs work good for packages. A funny choice would have been Sweet Child of Mine or November Rain for a Vince making and destroying WWF video. I always thought Epic by Faith No More would have been good for an Edge/Christian fued or another Tag Team break up where one guy is jealous of another. | Parts Unknown
