I never got into the online aspecet of it, maybe that's why it dulled out on me. Now if I can just get sick of EWR | kazhayashi81

I love it. It's one game I can actually play with my fiancee without boring her to tears! :) | Karlos the Jackal

But I think I'm going to go play Vacation right now.

Especially when you get into all the soap opera aspects of the game. I usually have at least one neighborhood slut at any given time-- either male or female-- someone who sleeps with everyone in the bloody neighborhood.
Hot Date made the game infinitely more enjoyable than it already was, in my view. Vacation made it even better.
I can't remember having the original The Sims game, by itself. I did, but I got Livin' Large like a week later, and that was about a year ago. The expansion packs rule all. Can't wait for the game on PS2! | Papercuts!

The Sims by itself ran great on my computer. Livin' Large slowed it a little bit. I skipped House Party, but Hot Date brought my machine to a halt. I still really like the game, but I'll go back to playing it when I can afford a new computer. | Socks

The Sims Hot Date basically extends neighborhoods into downtown areas as well, not to mention that it alters all the choices you have to say, kiss someone.
You can give them a peck, a friendly kiss or the all out smooch. You can buy gifts, etc. downtown. As well, there are day-to-day relationship stats that go into the long-term stats.
Vacation has four (right?) areas to, well, go on vacation to.
PS2's Sims should be interesting in that it actually has an end-point to it. That, and there's more stuff to play with. Sims Online, when it comes out, will be veddy interesting to see. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
