Wasn't the point of keeping KG out
was so that the Celts couldn't rout?
The Miami Heat
got so soundly beat
Why they're in the playoffs should be asked about.

I am a friggin modern day Robert Frost.

PS- I still don't get the Carmelo ad. Are the citizens of Utah trying to vote him in as governor or something?

Even though I hate "Big Baby"
He sure played like a winner
To make him play hard, the C's probably bribed him
With a free rack of ribs dinner

Meanwhile, the Lakers' nail-biter
almost put me 6 feet under
Now let's go to OKC
And sweep the Okie Thunder

Dont sleep on the Thunder, though
To do that would be dumb
That team is built to rule the NBA
for years and years to come

...just not this year :)

Does it say "This ad is sponsored by Jordan" at the bottom?

The Thunder/Lakers game last night may have been the most enjoyable of the playoffs yet. Durant blocking Kobe was a moment.

Yeah I must admit the blue-out by the fans was impressive as well. I just don't think OKC can win in L.A. though.

Well last year the Lakers got blown out on the road by the Rockets but ended up winning game 7. Hope there's no repeat this year, because I do think the Thunder are a better team than the 2009 Rockets were.

All the lower seeds right now in the West were either tied or losing entering last night, so it was holding up to form.

Atlanta/Milwaukee has been a fun series, despite all blowouts, and Boston/Miami has been even worse than I expected. Then again, I'm biased.

Speaking strictly as a SEATTLE Supersonics fan, I cannot *WAIT* for David Stern to assign his croniest referees to the remaining games to assure Kobe (not necessarily the Lakers) advances and just rip the hearts out those thieves from OKC. Enjoy!!

Couldn't avoid seeing some of the Suns/Blazers while eating dinner out over the weekend and was shocked to see that Juwan Howard is still playing in the league. Who woulda thunk that he'd be the last of the "Fab 5" still playing??

Depending on where Wall, Cousins, and one of the best Wildcats of ALL TIME, Patrick Patterson, end up, the NBA might (might) be able to pull me back in next season, but I'm skeptical. I've enjoyed my time away too much. Eat it David Stern.

As a Lakers fan, I hope you are right. Oh, who am I kidding, I don't watch the NBA anymore either. That is, until said Wildcats are cashing checks next year (assuming they weren't this year, har har). I still reserve hope for a miracle and one of them comes back to KY.

Count me as *VERY* surprised that ESPN is giving play to "Sonics-Gate" on Outside the Lines today since they're so in bed with Stern and the Association . . .

Uh, what? ESPN gave a ton of time to that issue when it was ongoing. I'm surprised they didnt rename NBA Hangtime 'NBA Sonics Are Moving Why?' for a month or two there.

And the Lakers fucking destroyed OKC last night, so no ref conspiracy to worry about yet.

I think Utah will close it out tonight. The Nuggets are resembling what they were at the end of 2007-08 (Carmelo calling people out, general meltdown of everyone on the team etc)

And that's a shame too, especially considering the reason they fell apart at the end of the season. I know the Nuggets are our WC rivals and all, but that team really had something going this season. Godspeed to George Karl for a quick recovery.

Of course, the greatest moment of the playoffs so far...

...was the Bucks' mascot, Bango (after Ric Flair's entrance music!?), moonsaulting off a 16-foot ladder for a SPECTACULAR dunk!

Oh, and if you liked Andy Samberg's "People Getting Punched Right Before Eating" SNL Digital Short, you'll love Bango doing the same to Hawks fans in Milwaukee.

I think Marvin Williams is playing like a 2nd pick in a draft for the first time in his NBA career. (I say this as someone who hasn't watched a ton of Hawks games, but I've heard a ton of talk about how much of a bust he's been. StingArmy can correct me if I'm wrong.)

Where amazing happens indeed.
