There's at least a half dozen Backstreet Boys/'N Sync songs I don't hate.

I own Michelle Branch's CD. I LOVE Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles." Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" is solid, too.

Probably time to make a CD of songs I'm ashamed to admit I like. "Whenever, Wherever" and "I Hope You Dance" will be on there too. I'm so pathetic.

There's no shame in liking any of them - those chicks is talented. I saw Michelle Branch last fall (not my own decision - she was touring with Lifehouse and my sister was in love with their lead singer, so I agreed to take her), and she was quite good live. I had never heard of her at that point. Of course, the fact that she's insanely hot might cloud my vision some, but...

I'm with the Michelle Branch and Counting Crows love, too.

Hmm... guilty pleasures. I like the Dixie Chicks and Alison Krauss and a lot of country and bluegrass stuff that most people either won't admit to liking or can't stand. Not really guilty feeling about that either though.

I can't bring myself to dislike the Backstreet Boys no matter how hard I try.

I also listen to more eighties music than is probably healthy.

I also own Yanni's "Live at the Acropolis" His studio work fits all preconcieved notions people have about him, but for some reason with an orchestra backing him up he sounds like a legit classical composer.

I also like a lot of the bands mentioned above (Creed, The Dixie Chicks, Shakira, Huey Lewis, and others) but I don't feel guilty about them :p

How on earth can Johnny Cash be considered a guilty pleasure? There's only a handful of musicians that are even close to being as cool as him, and his music is incredible. You're right to freely admit that you like Cash, but I'm shocked no one has lept to his defense before me.
You want a real guilty pleasure? How about the McRackins?
