Texas has got to be first because of the sheer volume of current wrestlers we watch. Some big ones are Steve Austin, Undertaker, Booker T, Goldust (I shutter at this one).

Now what about New York? Not just the city, but the state. Tazz, Buh-Buh Dudley, Justin Credible and Mick Foley.

As for the person who said Ohio; I've got one name for you: Al Snow. :)

Also, since I'm from Ohio, I'm going to have to say...

Ohio. Why? Because it gave us the greatest walking gimmick ever. Savage, brother. Savage. So here's a big OH YEAH to OH-I-O!

And if you're going by THAT, Flair's from Minnesota, too... which puts them WAY high, in my mind. Minnesota and Texas seem to be pretty high up there. Canada belongs with Mexico and Japan... not states, but they've all grown some pretty fine talent, too.

Minnesota and Texas have GOT to be the top two states for sure. I would say Minnesota more so ten years ago, Texas more so today.

Alberta, as a single province, has grown most of the good Canadian wrestlers: Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Owen Hart & Lance Storm. Chris Jericho trained here [he's from Manitoba], while Ontario's brought us such luminaries as Trish Stratus, Test, Val Venis, Joe E. Legend [Just Joe] and Edge & Christian.

Bruno Sammartino is from Pennsylvania, too. (Albert, on the other hand, only went to college here.)

So, if he counts, I'm claiming Mick Foley too, since he *trained* here with Dominic DeNucci (There's another one.)

EDIT: My sister just reminded me that Billy Kidman is also from PA - Allentown, I think.

But that's Canada and your silly "provinces". We're talking U.S. States here.

Silly Canadians.

Gotta go with my homestate on this one.

Ric Flair is from this area, though his current home is also in Charlotte. Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson (billed as being from Minnesota. Was he really?), Brock Lesnar, Hulkamania, Nick Bockwinkel, Verne Gagne, Baron Von Raschke (The Claw!), Eric Bischof--- SHIT! Texas wins.

Krusher Kowalski
Jesse the Body (adopted?? home)

Mick Foley is actually from Bloomington, Indiana: my home town He was raised in Long Island though. If you need confirmation, look on page 79 in Have a Nice Day and read what he says to Hank Hudson

I don't know Albert's life history or anything, but he was announced as being from Boston, no?

Let's not forget WCW Special Forces, which gave us the Patriots.

Need I remind you all that DDP went to high school with my Dad in good old New Jersey? Hell, I believe Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow are from around these parts also.

While Tony Atlas currently lives in Maine, he's originally from Virginia. Scotty 2 Hotty graduated from my high school - Westbrook High.

Not to mention the Road Warriors, who also live in Minnesota. My friend saw Animal at Best Buy right before he debuted in WCW that one time! :)

You know, the WWE could probably put together a pretty decent "US Open" style tournament if they wanted to.
