I'm not going to proclaim this show to be as good as "The Shield", but it's inching closer to that territory in my eyes.
Katey Sagal has been Emmy-worthy this season ... just spectacular to the point, in that, I don't really think of her a Peg Bundy anymore.
Very good ending to this season with Jax's son being kidnapped ... I hated that Half-Sack bit it, especially since he appeared to be on the verge of being "patched in" to SAMCRO.

I started watching it last year, but lost interest midway. I gave it a second chance this season and I'm really glad that I did. Each week made me excited for the next week's episode.

The final ten minutes of this show is exactly how to build a season ending cliffhanger, or better yet, series of cliffhangers.
I never wanted to punch anybody in the face as hard as I did the ATF lady last night!
And the ending had my gut in knots, with the boys racing down the pier trying to get there in time.
Can't wait for next season.
On an added note, how great was it to see Lem last week, playing the biker from Washington? Then seeing Shane is going to be on the new FX show JUSTIFIED in the spring made me happy as well. Now if only Gardoki would show up somewhere, it would make my day! | Dexley's Midnight Jogger

A.J. Weston certainly took his fate like a man.
In season one, Unser agreed to take six more monthes as chief at the urging of Clay. Did he decide not to retire at all, even with cancer? | StaggerLee

| #6 Posted on 2.12.09 1912.48 Reposted on: 2.12.16 1913.22 | I can't believe that they have not greenlighted a third season yet. I just got done watching the finale and I am stunned. Half-sack's death should have led to Tara killing the Irish guy. I am hoping Stahl dies next year since for a second year in a row has gotten a SAMCRO family in trouble due to her neglect. I was hoping Zobell was going to get it, but his daughter and Weston helps. I will say he is a cold bastard at the end when he got on the plane. I do hope next season they can Abel back, I don't want an entire season of dead ends til the last episode of next season if there is a next season. And yes, it is way better then anything on TV. | StaggerLee

| #7 Posted on 2.12.09 1936.38 Reposted on: 2.12.16 1936.45 | Stahl needs to be around for a big ass whooping. Not necessary to kill her though. Abel on the boat was heartbreaking. As was Jax's reaction. This isn't greenlit yet for next season? That's a damn shame. Totally the most engrossing drama on TV.
I was thinking maybe half sac would be saved, but seeing Tara tied and gagged means he wouldn't be saved. It's a shame, because he was really starting to come into his own. When the guy had the gun on him, I kept thinking "He's got a knockout punch, he's going to knock his ass out" But instead he charged.
Weston's feet under the stall was one of the coolest shots ever. EDIT: Looks like it's coming back for a third season. http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/12/02/sons-of-anarchy-renewed-for-third-season/35126

| #8 Posted on 3.12.09 1312.57 Reposted on: 3.12.16 1314.23 | Been with this show since the began. The first season definitely took some time to find its legs, but once it got rolling, it quickly became one of my three favorite non-comedies (Lost and Dexter, too).
This season's finale didn't sit well with me. The whole time I figured a battle was brewing and it never came. It's clever plotting and I appreciate how plot lines developed and intersected, but with testosterone laden entertainment like this, I need to see some shit go down. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
