I'm assuming so, but he'll probably be on a short leash regardless. Considering he's basically done the right things already, going to Japan and not speaking ill of WWE, I'd hope Masters has the sense to not juice to the gills and/or stay off the painkillers.

I am a little weary of Masters returning; if he keeps off the juice, then I think he could potentially be an asset for the company. However, when Chris Masters was suspended, his suspensions came soon after the other. Then again, if Batista can stay away from the suspension list, then I think it is possible for Chris Masters to retain his job in the WWE.
I think he should come back as a heel to Smackdown so that he can be built up again and get back in the ranks. He wasn't a bad heel. If ECW gets rid of a one or two heels, then I can see him on ECW and I think he would have a pretty good with Christian. But since ECW has a lot of heels to begin with , it would be adding "too many cooks that would spoil the broth" if Masters were to come back and into the ECW brand. He could be a face on ECW, but he was just a heel in his last stint with the WWE and in my opinion, you have to get into storyline to why you are turning face when you have been known as just as a heel.
Maybe he will be The Brian Kendrick's 'mystery' tag partner?

Other than have a good look, what did this guy ever do that made them think they should give him another chance after being fired for violating the Wellness Policy? I probably answered my own question, but they already have plenty of guys with the same look that they do little to nothing with.

G-d, I hope Masters doesn't return. Which young star gets a push killed because of him returning?? And please not Smackdown if he does return, they are pushing some good young talent now and don't need Masters.
Kozlov haters.... He's a good wrestler but has a horrible gimmick that was overdone in the 80's (big evil communist guy)

What has he been up to in his time away? I guess it's a lot like recalling a prospect you expected to start for your team. It's going to be tough to repackage the guy though. I like the idea of sticking him in a tag team and going from there.

I don't get endorsing Kozlov and lamenting Masters in the same breath. Masterpiece is way better.
Where's Kane been?
I think Meltzer said he was getting some time off because guys in their 40s need breaks. Plus it takes some time to start the Kane process over each year where he does something to become extra-pissed, is set up as a monster again, and then gradually levels out before switching brands in the next draft.
