We've seen three planes crash on the island, each with a dead passenger, so you might be on to something: Ajira - Locke, Oceanic - Christian, The Beachcraft - Yemi. The interesting aspect is that each of those characters appears to have some post-death connection to Smokey...

Do we know where Widmore was right before Oceanic crashed? My money right now is on him being the one to kill Christian. I know he's appeared in just about everyone else's flashbacks, but I would LOVE a Christian Shepard flashback episode. Assuming he's actually been on the island before and is involved in the power plays that are going on. If its just him drinking and being a bad dad to Jack, then I could go without.

I'd also like to see a Widmore flashback episode. I wonder if we'll get on in season 6. Alpert too.

Just wondering, I missed one episode a few weeks back, where is Desmond? I know he kinda lost it after his girl died. But last time I saw him was when he saw her as a child in the camp when Jack and Co. first got back to the island.

You mean Dan Faraday, and it hasn't been addressed yet.

I think Christian & Widmore spent as much time as they possibly could in their younger days, galavanting around the world, impregnating as many women as possible. And that everybody is biologically related to one or the other of them. Including Jack, who isn't really Claire's brother, because he was biologically fathered by Widmore who was cheating with Jack's mother. And Locke who wasn't fathered by Cooper as we'd assumed, but rather by Christian, is actually Ben's brother, since Ben's mother was fooling around on Roger with Christian. Don't even get me started on Penny, Alex, Carl, ...

Frighteningly, I'm only about 85% kidding.

Zap2It did an interview with Sterling Beaumont (blog.zap2it.com), who plays Young Ben, where he admitted he approached Carlton Cuse with three theories he had been working on, and Carlton told him that one of those theories were true.

The first theory was that Young Ben's friend Annie is Charlotte, which I think we can say has been debunked given that Charlotte in 1974 was only about 4 years old.

The second was that Ben and Locke, through parenting shenanigans, are indeed brothes.

The third, which has been proposed before and is the one that I'd put the most stock in so I'm putting in spoiler tags, is:

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Miles is Pierre Chang's son

Based on the previews, that may get addressed as soon as this coming Wednesday...

I actually cooked up a crazy theory earlier this season that Ben and Annie were somehow Jack's real parents. I find it amusing that after all the episodes of this show focusing on bad parents, everyone seems to be toying with the notions that everything we've seen so far has been full of lies.

You forgot the part where Jack goes further back in time and gets his grandma pregnant with Christian, thus making him his father's father as well as son.

If you believe Lostpedia, I'm not crazy. They list Alan Dale as the main actor that portrays Widmore, but they also list David S. Lee as the actor who portrays Widmore at age 40 (this was actually already on Lostpedia when I first posted but there was no headshot yet so I couldn't make the comparison). And if you look at their photos side-by-side, they sure do look like they could be closely related. Nice casting.
