Apparently, she had no obvious injuries from the skiing accident until much later. Just a freak and terrible accident.

The reports seemingly went from "she's going to be fine" to "brain-dead" in an instant...very sad. Another ambulance was called later but by then it was too late. (image removed) Just awful. From what I've read she sounded like a really sweet person.

Doesn't seem to be available online, but you might check your local library if interested.
