I think this release is about 20% financial, 50% due to age/production decrease and 30% due to his off the field issues. Either way, even if Harrison never plays again, I will always remember him, on the field, as a consummate pro. Be that as it may, since I have Anthony Gonzalez in my keeper league, I couldn;t be happier with this news.

A future member of the Colts Ring of Honor, a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, someone whose #88 will never again be issued by the Colts, and a class act and gentleman. This marks the end of an era in Indianapolis.
...Having said that, it was pretty clearly time for him to go, anyway; his production due to age had dropped so much that it was hard to justify keeping him around. I think that apart from missing Marvin's on-field presence as a leader, this won't really hurt us all that much from a performance standpoint.
