nah....people hate the coin because it's heavier....yeah they last longer and would make more sense, but as long as we have a choice [and if congress took away our choice there would be a backlash] the masses will take the lighter paper over the heavy coin...

It's all just as well... coins jingle in your pockets. Plus, they make my wallet far too big.

How does one carry a lot of coins around without having to carry a “change purse”?

Being currently in Spain, where they use such things, I have to give my vote for having dollar or €), and even two dollar coins. The sole reason is that then you don´t have to worry if your dollar will keep getting rejected by the vending machines (maybe if I just smooth the cornerns a little more...Damnit! Maybe put it in the other way...). That´s such a pain in the ass.

He's on our Quarter already. and it would fuck people up all kinds to replace him.
