But I live in a country that made it's 1 dollar coin a national symbol and always, always refers to it as the loonie. Which leads to the greatest line on any financial report on the news "The Loonie dropped in value today..."
nah....people hate the coin because it's heavier....yeah they last longer and would make more sense, but as long as we have a choice [and if congress took away our choice there would be a backlash] the masses will take the lighter paper over the heavy coin... | ekedolphin
