That would be the Canadian title, not the U.S. title! But yeah, I enjoyed the promo, and am looking forward to another evil Canadian stable. I'd like to see Jerich in this group, but I don't think they are going to stick him in a Canadian stable. Plus, Storm looks to be the leader as of tonight's Smackdown. So I guess we have Storm, Christian, and maybe Test. Any other ideas? I know they won't turn Edge after that promo he gave a couple weeks ago. Who knows, maybe Jericho will be in the group, and they will fued with Edge since Jericho and Edge have a score to settle. Good Canadian vs. evil Canadian stable. Could be interesting. | drjayphd

No argument here. The thing is, though, that now I find myself unable to watch SD only for moments like this. I put it on tonight, left it on for a minute while I saw the end of the Kidman/Noble match, and went back to "Law & Order". Here's hoping a certain someone can turn things around. | Spaceman Spiff

I think that is more of the "square peg, round hole" situation between the WWE & cruiserweights.

Can't a man dream? Is it too much for a man to have a simple wish of a Canadian Anti-American Heel stable.I thought all the people here would like it,with all the pro-Canadianess going around here.

Jeesh Kurt I've been asking myself the same think when I heard he re-hired Russo (among other thing Vince has done recently)... Ya Ya it seemed that Kurt was talkin about his match with Taker. But we know there's a cryptic message in these types of promos, much like Vince encouraging Jericho before his match with H and tells him "I'm sure you'd do a good 'job' out there" | Alex

Started to drag, or maybe that's because those lame ass announcers weren't saying a word or selling it as serious. Oh and as far as that HHH interview afterward.....

I kinda agree. He probably could have gotten the point across in about half the time. *However,* I really can't complain about them giving air time to Mr. Storm, because that means less air time for HHH, McMahon, etc.
And I can't complain about a revived Team Canada gimmick, because if it does nothing but create a new tag team, it will give Storm and Christian something to do week after week, as well as start filling up the tag division again.
Would these two be better off as singles? Maybe. Is it happening, for whatever reason? Nope. Count your blessings. |
