Fox is saying that 24 is headed to DVD on September 17th.

That's pretty suprising since most shows go to video and DVD later in their runs.

It'll be great to have that on DVD... I would like to see what special features that set will contain.

CRZ, you've got a multi-region player, right? 24 is released here in Europe on 19th August at (if you shop around) about 34.99 if you fancy buying online (don't know if that's any use to you though).

You can have a squizz at the details if you Click Here or Click Here

That's about $60, right? Hmmm...I'll probably procrastinate and wait for the Region 1 version but that's probably a price I'd consider paying.

Yeah, about that. It seems stunningly reasonable when you consider 22 episodes worth of Buffy/Angel/ST:TNG cost nearly double that. Not bad at all...

This is terrific news, considering I saw every episode except the final three, which I was denied due to work complications. I still don't know how it ends. Don't tell meeeeeeeee!

Then he should probably wait.. as Buffy here's about $45 for 22, and you can find it for $40.

AT Best Buy last week, I got seasons 1 and 2 of buffy for less than $60.

Gotta love category busters.

Wow. We really do get screwed on the prices of these things! What's your average price of a standalone movie BTW (just for more comparison to make me even more bitter )? We pay about 17 for a new release (about $25ish). I know we get screwed over on the price of CDs, but video games are closer in price nowadays so it might be similar for DVDs I guess...
