THis game will either
1)Cause my wife to divorce me
or
2)Cause me turn into that guy who died playing Everquest.

AND THATS NOT GOOD. But the game is damn fine. RVD took the Title from Trips at Revolution. And the Undertaker is back to the old UT with a new faction that includes Leviathan (Deacon Bautista) and Raven. I axed the Euro and Hardcore titles and brought in the Television Title.

1 year from now we will all be in a room at the YMCA saying:
Hi my name is Ffej and I am a Warfare-a-holic.

I just got to the first PPV, and I was expecting 11 slots like on TV. Damn them, not giving me the time to end my O'Haire/Sanders/Chris Harvard vs. Orton/Maven/Spanky mini-feud.

I really need to trim back my roster, but I just can't decide who to cut (after the first 15-20 obvious ones). Oh...and after the Debra story broke, Austin's ass was SO fired.

That must have cost you a bundle.

I started with PWI and Curt Hennig was my first champion. Mind you, he lost a TON of heat in his feud against Michael Modest when Modest took the title from him. Now he's just an upper midcarder who puts other people over.

Oh, and if you have a hardcore division, get Johnny the Bull and Masato Tanaka. Tanaka tires easily, but his high brawling and over makes for some good matches. :)

I have Masato Tanaka, but he is involved in a feud with William Regal for the Euro strap. Tanaka does brutal angles to Regal, but Regal keeps cheaply winning in actual bouts. I'm probably going to end it soon, because like you said Tanaka tires easily, but it's been a sweet ride.

Mike Awesome has pretty much owned the hardcore division since Bradshaw got hurt, but I'm thinking about putting some new talent over with it.

The only thing I don't like, (and when I get the chance I will post it in his board) is that when tag team members wrestle each other in singles matches, it doesn't build heat for the feud. Billy/Chuck vs. Snow/Maven ended in 1 victory apiece, but they had fought each other in singles or 3 on 3 situations for over a month. More angle types would be nice too, but not completely necessary.

Austin did cost a lot, but I'm VINCE MCMAHON, DAMNIT!

You must must must pick up Erin Bray. He has awesome stats (including 100 charisma... 100!) and in two months he's in the main event feuding with Chris Candido. Next stop: Rey Mysterio Jr. and the Cruiserweight strap.

The best part is, I got him in a five year written contract, so he's mine all mine for $9,000 a month! How can you beat THAT, I ask you?

American Dragon is another pretty good find, but he's costing me $31,000 a month for the same thing I'm getting from Bray.

The best part is, I was just using them to put over the main event cruiserweights. Hey Dragon! Put over Mysterio Jr.! What? He went up 5 and you went up 10?! Well, okay.

Scott Steiner likes to beat peoples asses backstage, but I have to ignore it because he is in my top feud with Sabu. Other than that I have Kamala vs Disco which is in the high 80's, Swinger vs Daniels which is low 80's, Road Dogg and Tank Abbott which is in the mid 80's. The US title is in the low 70's with Orton/CW Anderson.

I originally started with the NWA, but I didn't really know what the hell I was doing at first. Now that I got the hang of it I went with the WWA so I had to really work my way up.

Three things I've learned:

1. The WWE is a bunch of bastards.
2. Wrestlers are assholes
3. Booking isn't easy (I go show to show.)

And CRZ I really enjoy your recaps in real life, but your recaps in the game stink.

I use RAW & Smackdown for name talent, and Heat is for whoever I don't feel like crapping up the main shows with. No angles on Heat, just wrestling. What a concept!

Argh! It's just like real life, no one will ever job to anyone. You want to truly drive yourself nuts, try and build up an intergender angle...no man will job to a woman, even if he's the lowest jobber on the planet. I do wish there was some sort of override function you could use when people refuse to job/do an angle. Perhaps it could force them to do the angle, but in return perhaps the quality might go down, or they may even quit if too many overrides are done.

It's a shame you can't punish people for refusing to job. You can kind of get around it by letting them win, but make them cheat to do it, and make the match to get the other person over.

Eventually their over ratings will be close enough that the guy will be willing to lose. Then, bury him.

If you REALLY want to screw someone over, put them in a feud that they never win a battle in, don't get an interview, nothing. Then end it with a clean win for their opponent (bonus points for taking a title off him). They'll lose a TON of heat that way. (I did that by accident on someone I had finally built up to the upper midcard. Suddenly he was an opener again.

It looks the fixes in the next update will include an option to force someone to job. Actually, the updates this guy has planned looks to improve greatly on what is already a great game (including eventually 50 new angles).

Sweet! I just spend about ten minutes sifting through the out of work workers and picking up all the young talent to training camp or developmental deals...leaving only the old, crappy talent for start-up promotions to choose from... MWA-HA-HA!

I had Kidman team with Malenko to win the tag titles, but only to transition them to Harvard/Regal (who were only to transition them to RVD/Edge...) Anyway, after Kidman and Malenko lost the tag titles, I split up their tag team backstage. Then, I realized I wanted Kidman to turn heel, so I had him come out and turn on Malenko, but apparently, the crowd didn't understand the turn(???), and Kidman is now a Tweener. Has this happened to anyone else?

... and I thought the Sims was addictive...

It took me a couple of tries to fully turn Jericho face, as he spent a while in Tweener land. The crowd just didn't want to buy him as a face. But a third try at turning him face using Undertaker to turn on finally pushed him over.

Damn this game is addictive! I've got an NWA TNA game going, with a TV deal on America One. Only problems so far is one late arrival from Scott Hall. Signed Haku, The Blue Boy, American Dragon, Spanky and Phil Lafon. Turned Psicosis heel. Not bad so far.
I also have EWDeluxe, which I enjoy for sheer fun. Somehow booking finishes takes a lot of fun out of the game. In EWC, you book the matches then the finishes sort themselves out based on push and some random factors.

This is the absolute best wrestling sim I've ever played. Some great stuff already, and the guy plans on adding a ton more features next month. If the update ends up being as awesome as it has the potential to be, I'll buy him whatever the hell he wants from his amazon.com wish list. He deserves to get *something* for all this work and ingenuity.

While my first game probably should have started running the WWE, I couldn't resist starting up a new Backyard promotion and taking it to the top. Got some young'ns putting on nice little **1/2 to *** matches, even though no one gives a crap. Almost up to Small! Okay, so I cheated and gave myself the maximum amount of starting capital, but it's fun anyway.

Oh, and even though it's on another site, go read The Scotsman's 3-part EWR diary. See what happens when you push the Big Boss Man?
