Thumbs up to CRZ for the nifty new icon. Once again, from Box Office Mojo (Last week's rank in parenthesis):

1. The Bucket List (23) - $19,540,000
2. First Sunday (NEW) - $19,000,000
3. Juno (2) - $14,000,000
4. National Treasure: Book of Secrets (1) - $11,482,000
5. Alvin and the Chipmunks (4) - $9,100,000
6. I Am Legend (3) - $8,130,000
7. One Missed Call (5) - $6,130,000
8. P.S. I Love You (7) - $5,005,000
9. The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie (NEW) - $4,419,000
10. Atonement (10) - $4,430,000

A drastic expansion (from 16 screens to 2,911 screens nationwide) did wonders for "The Bucket List". I personally have yet to see it, but am willing to give it a go very soon.

And here I was hoping that "First Sunday" would prove that Ice Cube wasn't a box office draw anymore. Worse yet, I'm wondering if someone in Hollywood will take these numbers to justify a Tracy Morgan movie? Ack!

Nothing much else to say, except...they're still making VeggieTales movies? Really? I ask the W parents out there, how was it?

I saw The Bucket List Friday night and it was a pretty decent flick. The stars were on point and the date pointed out to me that "Jack" was in the movie and then she got sad when I didn't know he was from "Will and Grace."

It was funny at times, touching at others, and I'd pick up the DVD when it comes out. It's not all about "old men doing crazy things" like the ads show. After the slowish first half hour, it picked up and my date and I liked it alot.

Oh, this makes the fourth(?) time that has Ice Cube in a movie with a day in the week in the title? Wasupwitdat?
