Has anyone else purchased Phase for their ipod? It's from Harmonix, the same company that brought us Guitar Hero. It's really is like Guitar Hero for the ipod AND you play the songs in your ipod. You use the left, right, and middle buttons for the notes, and then they have sweeps that you trace with your scroll wheel. This game is pretty addicting. Not bad either for $5. It's definitely my new time killer.
There's already a vid online too of someone playing Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames" on it. heh.

This is the first game I've bought from iTunes (actually, the first anything I've bought). Any idea why it's not working for me at all? My iTunes is up-to-date, my iPod software is up-to-date, and I've got what I believe is a 5th generation 30GB iPod Video. Yet when I sync over, it brings up "The game 'Phase' was not copied to the iPod 'Jeff's iPod' because you are not authorized to play it on this computer." Any suggestions?

I tried this with the default songs, and meh.
Then I tried it with my own songs and, much like Excite Truck, the game improved tenfold. Loud rock? Fast rap? A piano ballad for fun? You can drop in anything you want. It eats battery power like an f'n champ, but aside from that minor issue, it's a great $5 game.
