I will admit to having read him a few times and not disliking the writing or the knowledge he does seem to have about wrestling in general but the only times I did read him were after a Raw that I particularly liked to see if that actually satisfied him or if he nitpicked it to death as usual.

I do not read recaps as a rule since I watch the shows and try to make up my own mind about if I enjoy something or not. When I do miss a show, I read CRZ b\c of the detail he has. I always read Hyatte, not for the blow by blow but because I found him entertaining. In fact I usually skipped past the limited descriptions of matches he did have. As I said I would read SK's recap only to see if anything of a show I enjoyed satisfied him. On that same note, that is also why I come to Weinerville most of the time...the sad thing is that it is sometimes hard to find anyone that actually enjoyed a show for it's entertainment and didn't nitpick it even on the board.

I guess that's why I don't post a whole lot since I actually enjoy most of the show and if I don't, I don't watch

I also read both Keith and CRZ, and am I fan of both. However, on the other hand, I am not a fan of Hyatte. I've read a few things of his, but just found them childish and repetative. That was also a few years ago when he was writing for Scoops though, so he might have improved. *shrug* Too bad I don't care enough to go read one of his newer articles to find out for myself.

I am EASILY a big fan of both Hyatte and Keith. Keith seems like the most honest reviewer out there, and Hyatte is good for the "he says what most of us are thinking but he can write it in a more entertaining way than I could" stuff.

I take my hat off to Scott for actually taking the time to respond to the Hyatte interview in any manner, since as we have seen Scott usually keeps quiet about his feelings for Hyatte.

That being said, I do enjoy this feud as it is easily more entertaining than any WWE angle going on right now.

Quite frankly, I find both Hyatte and Keith to suck (but everyone is entitled to their own opinion on their writing, of course), and, seriously, anyone who thinks they're important enough to take part in a "net feud" needs to wake up, smell the roses, step out into the bright glare of reality, and help themselves to a big heaping glass of shut the fuck up.

Just out of curiosity - is anyone a fan of both writers?

I wouldn't call myself a "fan" of either man, but I would say this:

I read Hyatte and find him hilarious when on in a wierd Morton Downy, Jr. kinda way. It's like the way you can enjoy Eminem for entertainment and shock value on some base levels. Hyatte's a guilty pleasure.

I intermittently read Keith and find him to be mostly ego-maniacal and oppressive. His opinions are often on point (more than most would admit) I think, but the overall self-centered delivery is hard to swallow. VERY hard.

I do not read recaps as a rule since I watch the shows and try to make up my own mind about if I enjoy something or not. When I do miss a show, I read CRZ b\c of the detail he has.

I would say that this is *the* reason to read CRZ. Lack of Capt. Caveman-beat-you-over-the-head-with-a-club opinion. Very refreshing.

And I always watch for myself before reading any of these guys. I try to see what/who I agree with and whose opinions idffer fom my own.

While net-feuds are silly, a guy certainly has the right to defend himself when accusations are made about him. Whether we're "fans" of either guy or not is irrelevant in my book.

If Keith finds what was said to be libelous, he needs to do something about it. "Feuding" about it online does nothing productive whatsoever.

Whlie I'd like to say it was interesting. I've never really enjoyed Hyatte's work. I do read Keith's PPV reviews from time-to-time but that's about it.

Anyways I just want to sum this all up by saying....

This is NOT Spam.

The Bottom Line: This thread sucked. I can't see these guys getting any better. They keep giving TinMan opportunities to start threads, but all it really is is a quick fix. What this board needs is to start putting over their hot, young, Canadian stars. If they don't then heaven help us all.

Scott Keith Ladies and Gentlemen, most predictable man on the 'net. Gotta love him.

This feud with Hyatte and Keith sounds interesting and yet no one has taken the time TO POST A FUCKING LINK TO THE COLUMN IN QUESTION...thank you

edit: found the column...

As of now, it's just Hyatte he-whore, man-bitch slapping Keith's punkass.

That pretty much sums up every Hyatte ´´feud´´ there´s ever been. Honestly, it seems people generally take a Hyatte ´´man-bitch slapping´´ session more as a complement than anything.

While I haven´t read Hyatte in years (other than the occasional curiosity read to see if he even talks about wrestling anymore) I will say that the moment in time when I quit reading Scoops and switched to Wrestlemaniacs is directly related to the moment in time when Hyatte quit writing Mop-Ups for them (of course, he actually let you know what went on in the show back then).

As for Keith, the fact that his style and catchphrases are so well know (even if it´s to make fun of them) says something. Just read the last few posts onthis thread. When I´m writing, the only real internet-inside jokes that come to mind generally involve Keith-isms, even though I read the guy maybe once every few months for a PPV recap.

Basically, Keith loves to spread doom and gloom around about the WWF and how all the things they do (i.e. hotshotting Vince's return to RAW and subsequent victory over Flair, giving Hogan the title) are just bandages or "quick fixes" and that if the WWF *really* wants to save itself they need to push everyone on his list of "boys" (i.e. Benoit, Storm, anyone who's even remotely Canadian). I was just poking fun at that. I really should stop punking on Scott. It's getting old, so I'll leave it at that.

ok, I saw my name and that was the part I didn't get. I thought it was referring to me somehow and I didn't understand. It is about time for this thread to end though since it doesn't look like SK will be coming back until next weeks discussion when Hyatte punks him out again...lol

I just went back and looked at some of the most viewed threads in this particular forum, and the one thing I nioticed was that they were for threads involving SK and\or Hyatte. they must absolutely love coming here to see their names so often. Like they say, there is no bad publicity.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This is independent of intention.

Various forms of, ``I read Scott Keith and/or Chris Hyatte, but I don't want to admit it without qualifying it,'' are similarly misguided if they are intended to do anything but increase exposure.

Scott Keith posted twice early in this thread and called in a favor from one of his longtime backbenchers (but an ``impartial observer,'' of course). Then he sat back and watched as it became manifest that Hyatte's remarks had done nothing but drum up more awareness of both guys. Both are found only on one site -- I suspect site traffic has increased according to plan quite nicely. The Austin situation and the events on RAW couldn't have hurt, but that just shows that Hyatte has an impeccable sense of timing.

Figure there's a thread like this on every wrestling board right now. Figure that for every BigDaddyLoco who proves that this thread gave a hit to that site, there are many who haven't posted about it.

Hyatte netfeuds are gold; and this one could last a good long time.

I don't know which is more entertaining, the feud itself or the Pavlovian response.
