| #1 Posted on 6.10.07 2101.47 Reposted on: 6.10.14 2102.01 | A friend of mine was clearing out his old electronics. I got a free Xbox (original, not a 360) out of the deal. I have never had one and I have never paid any attention to what is out there. What games should I look for? I have a PS2 and a Wii already, so I am mainly looking for Xbox exclusives. I don't care about Halo. I like a lot of casual games and pick-up-and-play type stuff. Any thoughts? Promote this thread! | | wmatistic

Pirates was fun to a lot of people but you have to like that type of game. Also if you like Star Wars and RPG at all you MUST get Knights of the Old Republic I and II. Awesome games.
Did Psychonauts come out for the PS2? Cause that was a great platformer type game. Jade Empire was another kinda RPG one that everyone loved. | Alex

I wound up getting two games from the same friend who passed along the Xbox - Halo 2 and some Star Wars game - so I guess I will give those a try first.
Also, I ordered Toe Jam & Earl III because I loved the Genesis version so much (I know the Xbox reviews were bad, but it sounds bad in the same ways that the Genesis version was bad, so I'm fine with that).
Does Xbox Live still exist for Xbox (not 360) users? | wmatistic

You can play Halo 2 against people who are using their 360's even, though I imagine there aren't as many people playing that now. I know some people hate Halo 2 but I have to wonder if they ever tried the online play. The single player game is just ok, though I enjoyed the first Halo way more(some cool twists). But online play is just absurd stupid fun. A totally different experience.
