I mean, it was a cool plot twist and such, but it was kind of haphazardly thrown together. When I saw the guy from the back, at first, I was positive it was Grandmaster Sexay with a weird accent, but no weirder than Eddie G's fake-sounding Spanish accent.
Jamie Noble was in WCW, right? But not in 3 count? Am I confusing him with Evan Karagias? Wasn't Jamie much smaller in WCW? Was he in that Asian stable, or something?

Hurricane and Nidia used to date? Nidia went from being a pretty normal girl on Tough Enough to being a piece of trailer park trash (tm the Rock)? She's now dating Jamie Knoble, who is remembered by maybe 5% of the wrestling fan population? | KevinKellyisFNHardcore

| #32 Posted on 7.6.02 0149.54 Reposted on: 7.6.09 0150.03 | Wow, Nidia is truly a terrible actress and was anyone else kinda disgusted by that "kiss"? If the WWF thinks making Nidia a "whore" is going to get her and Crash Holly's bastard child, I mean Jamie Noble, over then they're crazy. Nidia has like zero presence or charisma and don't we have enough rednecks in the WWF without Noble playing that card too? Whatever, color me disappointed. Here I was hoping Dan Spivey would be Nidia's boyfriend. | Enojado Viento

| #33 Posted on 7.6.02 0235.34 Reposted on: 7.6.09 0237.40 | I'm of two mind about it. While it was a segment that came close enough to being universe-destroyingly terrible, there was a very surreal entertainment value to it, like someone had had a nervous breakdown scripting it.
Something about Nidia's horrid acting and Jamie Knoble running in and hollering "AH'M JAMIE KNOBLE!" over and over again made for side-splitting laughter at the Viento household.
If WWE is committed to bad TV, I just ask that it be entertaining. At least with Knoble and Helms sharing the ring we'll get some decent matches out of it.

I think the WWF(E) could use a tough, evil female character, not just another whoreslut. I haven't seen a real female villain since Sunny was sober (or acted sober). WCW almost had a good one with Heel Kimberley but she didn't stay around long enough. They need to watch some tapes with Woman, Sensational Sherri or even Precious. They're obviously going for a Natural Born Killers pair with Nidia and Jamie, and she played her part pretty well. I liked her little orgasmic freak-out at the end. Noble, on the other hand, yelled "Boy!" a litte too much. And as a friend said, there's something a little disconcerting about a redneck yelling that over and over. | Punkinhed

I just enjoy replaying that whole scene with my personal pick for the Hurricane's stalker, La Parka. Imagining that kiss with the mask and all would be funny. And if he ran in and gave the Hurricane a chairshot it would have looked soo harsh. The letters would have worked too...when Hurricane asked him about them he could hold up a sign saying "I didn't write them!"
I just have a huge mad-on to see La Parka on WWE television, I don't know why. |
