Will Bryan trottier's first move to be to hire Dennis Potvin as and assistant ? Is this all an elaborate scheme for the fishsticks to finally exact revenge for the Don Maloney years ? Will the Rangers logo get changed to look like Mrs. Paul ?

I really do Love/Hate the NYR at times like this......

So Trottier got the Ranger job....okay. Was trying to hire Ron Wilson a bad idea or something??

If trottier can dpart from some of Bob Hartley's antics, he should do a good job. The guy is certainly a good hockey man and I can't wait to hear the reaction when he's behind the bench @ Nassau.

It's going to get interesting yeah.
Many keep telling me Sather only wants people who do whatever he tells me to. Maybe that's why he goes for an unproven head coach instead of someone better known.

As for him being a fishstick..this just adds oil to that feud of all feuds. Love it.

Wilson? I am not sure if his coaching style would fit the Rangers.

Trottier should do a good job in New York. I have a good feeling about this.

Every coach was unproven at the beginning of their coaching career.

The only thing that would better is if the Rangers hired Denis Potvin.

and now Sather has brought in Terry O'Reilly (best known for climbing into the seats at MSG) and Jim "Have another donut Koharski !" Schoenfeld as assistant coaches - finally some toughness on the NYR bench - hopefully it will translate to toughness on the ice too.......

Nod. They don't seem to care who looks good but try to get some folks that can get something going.

I hope it all pays off.
Last summer I thought all would be well when they got Lindros, and kept guys like Fleury..

On a side note..I sure hope they keep Richter. If only so he can pass his knowledge to Blackburn and they do the same thing with Mike & the Beezer, having them each play 50% of the games.
