So now i call on my fellow weiners for help, Does anyone have drivers for the HPcdwriter CD16F? Please god I need them, I have gone many weeks without burning a CD and i cant take it anymore. Have you tried going here and downloading this DLA software? I don't know if it will do the trick, but it might help. Also, have you tried uninstalling that piece of hardware and then just asking Windows to detect your device? Hope you can get it to work without shelling out ten damn dollars for something that should be free o'er the internet.
