Ultimate Warrior completely no-sold the pedigree at WM12. maybe thats why HHH feels he needs to beat everybody now. he wants his heat back! ;) | Big Bad

| #44 Posted on 3.6.02 0104.10 Reposted on: 3.6.09 0108.29 | I think Test's "Pump Handle Slam", was most effective when applied on unruly punks while working backstage security for Motley Crue (awful gimmick).
Vaguely recalled exchange: Kevin Kelly: "Test is one of the toughest people from the world of rock and roll!" Foley: "I don't think there's a lot of tough guys in rock and roll, Double K."
I think it was only called "The Meltdown" when Bryan Clark used it in WCW.
Worst Finishing Moves I can't remember exactly which WWF program it was (probably Heat), but Rodney and Pete Gas of the Mean Street Posse each unveiled a "hot, new finishing move" in the same segment. They did some kind of run in, and executed the "Gas Mask" (some kind of inverted sit out powerbomb with a chin lock) and the "Stock Exchange" (I believe some type of modified 3-D). Michael Cole not only knew the names of these exciting, new moves--but he also sold them like Gorilla selling Andre's suprise entrance in the first Royal Rumble ("OH LOOK IT...IT"S ANDRE!!!). Soon after the MSP was on its way to the OVW or Memphis to hone it's skills. | Chumpstain

It wasn't a bad move.. one of the Posse (Rodney, I think?) would deliver a back body drop to the victim, who'd be caught in midair by Joey Abs and given a sitout powerbomb. The move took some skill to execute..
I remember a match on Smackdown where the Posse took on Kaientai in a handicap match, hoping to get their first ever win. They spent the whole match hitting their "finishers" on poor Funaki, with Michael Cole calling the moves by their correct (and ridiculous) names, until finally Rodney missed the High Society and hit one of the Posse with it by mistake, Funaki snuck in the quick pin, and the Posse remained winless.
And yeah, I'm completely off topic. | TheBucsFan

I loved the Undertaker's dragon sleeper (even if it did have a rediculous name). I wish he would go back to using that. | Weevil

Actually, his finisher in the WWF was called the Adam Smasher. At first it was a regular powerbomb, but later became a pumphandle slam (i.e. Road Dogg's old finisher). In WCW, he used a pumphandle powerslam (what Test uses) instead, calling it the Meltdown. Don't know anything about a Death Penalty. | cfgb

I never did figure out why they didn't build Wrath up as an opponent for Goldberg when he had his own winning streak going before Nash ended it. | Zaphod

I think he used the Death Penalty urinage as his finisher while managed by James Vandeburg and teamed up with Mortis/Kanyon in whatever their team was called. When he added the Meltdown to his moveset, the Death Penalty became just a setup move. People don't remember the Death Penalty as finisher, perhaps, because Wrath was almost exclusively WCW Saturday Night and Worldwide material at the time. | drjayphd
