Those of you who are old enough to remember know exactly what I'm talking about. It was only shown once, and according to the Observer at that time (1990 I believe), even Vince Mcmahon was creeped out by it and gave orders for it never to be shown again on WWF TV. I was 12 at the time, and the bizzare image has never left my brain. This topic was brought up here in the W a few years ago, and now for those of you who have never seen it, or have only heard of it....
Thank god for youtube

I wasn't too creeped out. However for a minute there I was hoping Chris Hansen would step out from behind Brother Love Show curtain.
What made it even more weird/entertaining for me was the close up of Warrior in the beginning of the segment. First thing I thought of was Peter North.

Hell, that's PROBABLY the most humanizing segment the Ultimate Warrior ever was in. He even sounded coherent.
Caveat is that if you didn't know that was his daughter (it's obvious in hindsight, of course) it might come off as sketchy.
Great clip, I'm not sure how I missed that the first time around. It's funny how in your mind you think you never missed shows growing up. | Leroy

I agree, but in more general terms. I don't think they use the interview format to start feuds nearly as much as they used to or as much as they could. It was always an easy feud-starter. We went a while with a BUNCH of wrestler-interviewers, like Carlito's Cabana, The Cutting Edge, etc., but that seemed to more forward their own feuds than start others. Interview segments like Brother Love could start/help build feuds as well. Jake-Warrior, Hogan-Earthquake, etc.
But did anyone else notice the amount of boos Brother Love was getting in that clip? Was that legit or were those piped in? If legit, just shows that he definitely could work the crowd! | BigDaddyLoco

| #13 Posted on 9.3.07 1113.31 Reposted on: 9.3.14 1113.41 | I have vague memory of that segment. I don't remember it being creepy but it was a bit strange. The use of the words "large muscle" before of saying "heart" was a bit disturbing but that was Warrior.
Back then I was it kid and probably didn't think to much of it.
Now, it still runs pretty well yet it does feel just slightly off. I might watch it few more times to shake the feeling or see if it sticks around. | griff
