A fall on a patch of ice caused Lakers forward Vladimir Radmanovic to separate his right shoulder, and as a result he will be out for two months.
OW. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I can't imagine anyone has gone their entire life without slipping on a patch of ice; just goes to show you how lucky most of us usually are when that happens, huh?
2/23: An update, and uh-oh, he lied! It turns out he actually hurt himself snowboarding, and then deliberately falsified the reason for his injury. Snowboarding, needless to say, falls into the same category as motorcycling and skydiving-- it's a violation of the language of his contract preventing hazardous recreational activity. (However, snowboarding is not explicitly mentioned).
No word yet on disciplinary action for him.
