This isn't site bashing per se, but I didn't want to clutter up the wrestling folder.

At any rate, I logged on today, only to notice that Meltzer doesn't have Smackdown Spoilers Up. The Torch doesn't have them up. 411 didn't have them up.

This usually happens about twice a year. When it does, someone, in their race to be first in this situation inevitably posts fake spoilers -- most likely because they can't check with Meltzer to see if they're legitmate or not.

At any rate, about 10 a.m. my time, 411 actually posted spoilers.

I read them and for some reason, they're VERY suspect.

So, I submit to you, the wienerville populace, my case that the 411 spoilers are fake.

Click Here to see the first round. Make sure you read the first couple entries, all the way down to the bit about Vince McMahon. Don't worry, you won't have much ruined for you.

Click Here for the second report. Again, read down through the VInce McMahon graf.

I know this may only prove that the same author sent in basically similar reports. But it also may be a case of sending two reports in to make his report look legitimate. That, coupled with the fact that Ashish will post just about ANYTHING people send him (and that fact that no one can check with what Meltzer has) leads me to believe ol' Ashish got hornswoggled.

I just think it's odd that it's noon and Meltzer (and last time I checked, Scherer) don't have the results up yet.

The thing I'm most curious about is whether or not they show footage from DBS' funeral. We all know Bret and Martha were pissed Vince did that with Owen.

Are they doing a live show this week by chance?

Okay your first link is credited to RajahWWF.com, from BootyDaddy. These same spoilers (word for word) appear on WrestlingExposed.com thanks to 'Matt McQueen' and then there's the 411 reader 'Joeseph' who writes another set that sounds almost exactly the same. I'm will to bet that they're fake. Oh well.

The Torch now has the same spoilers posted on their site.

The WWF site has the same ones up now too, so they are legitimate.

Sweet tap-dancing Jesus! Guess I won't be watching again this week.

I mean, really. I read the spoilers and I was like "this sounds way too bad to be real."

Well, you'll have a long cage match. That might be worth watching. And the debut of Dawn Marie.

I'm going to give it too much of a ringing endorsement. I just tape both shows and do other stuff when they're on live lately, so I probably won't watch it until this weekend.

imagine if you had read spoilers for RAW saying Benoit returns and Eddie Gurrero and RVD fight a 20 minute ladder match. You wouldn't have believed that either.

SInce I don't have cable, and therefore I cannot watch RAW, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I haven't watched Smackdown in almost a year and I occasionally read the spoilers to determine whether or not I should start watching again.
