I think I was misunderstood. Taco Bell is marketing a "Black" taco as something novel. I was merely stating that when a fried corn tortilla shell is black, that usually indicates that it is burnt. Burnt taco shells are not appealing. It would be like Subway saying, "Come in and try our Extreme Green Fuzzy Bread!"

Zed thanks for the Monty Python. In high school and college we wore out our vinyl listening to their bits like a cheese shop with no cheese, rat flavored pie, and the Spanish inquisition. And we first discovered the new medium of PBS watching the Flying Circus and later Fawlty Towers. Not to Mention the Holy Grail, Life of Brian and the Meaning of Life. And what is great to me is that my 19 yo daughter is now a big fan.

Hard to belive it's been 40 years. Thanks!

Exactly the same for me, Doc. My 13 year old son is a huge fan, too. We bought the entire DVD collection of the television series and we watch them all the time.

You two, and others, would probably like to know that the Python-a-thon starts Sunday on IFC. Every night at 9pm from Sunday through Friday they are going to air the movies and some select episodes of Flying Circus, interviews, reunion, Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyers Cut), and more.

To this day, when we hold our 50/50 raffle prior to main events in ACW and NWA Wisconsin, I play the "big board" music while we pick a winner, and then the PYL theme when said winner shows up.

The crowd always goes along with the "Big Bucks, Big Bucks, no Whammies, STOP!" gimmick. Fun for all.
