I haven't played Yu-gi-oh in AGES (probably two years or so). And I still have of the cards too!

It's funny when you start playing somehting for awhile, invest time (and money) into it....then you gradually without noticing just stop playing.

That shit's expensive! How can you just stop without noticing?

That's like giving a $20 to a hobo and not asking where the money's going to.

Well you see, I started my current job which had me work at a same time as when I used to play, and just not too long ago I found out the place where I used to play no longer exists.

They did cost some money.....but I'm also a shrewd fellow who made some good trades....and got pretty lucky when it came to getting rare cards out of booster packs. I'll likely start playing again at some point....at what time it remains to be seen. Likely either using a Beastdown variation (feat. Mystical Knight of Jackal) or using my Exodia deck (either speed or stall). I'd also LOVE to use my Ghost Knight of Jackal deck again, as that took much skill to pull off. I actually wona tourny or two with it, even when people were using their tool box/cookie cutter decks.

EDIT: I wonder how many people here knew half of what I just posted.

Mostly because I meant to ask Justin Shapiro to pick a graphic for his birthday banner...except I never caught him on AIM at a time when I simultaneously remembered that his birthday was coming up. So then I COMPLETELY forgot and ended up serendipitously deciding to do this for absolutely no reason related to the fact that it's Justin's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTIN

At first, I thought that was WCCO's "4" but upon second glance, realized it was the FF logo. My bad.

Mmmmmmm...Chicago Style!

That better be Vienna beef. Doesn't look like a poppy seed bun, either, and where's the celery salt?

Still...mmmmmmmmmm!

I didn't see a hotdog at first and was wondering why somebody would eat a pickle in a bun.

I don't like pickles or mustard, so that looks pretty gross to me. I'm ad-blocking the banner until tomorrow morning.

It's not the pickle or mustard that gets me. It's the tomato wedges.

I like my tomatoes diced, sliced, or sauced. Not wedged. Creeps me out for some reason.

Right there with you...when they're wedged they look like a veggie that's not "done" yet. Like it needed more time before they picked it. Bleh.

I'll skip the peppers on mine, and pluck the pickle wedge off to eat on the side - otherwise, it's quite the tasty little meal. Also works for a grilled Polish. Although for a Chicago-style dog, the relish should really be more of a bright neon green, with an almost radioactive look to it.

I've seen a lot less of the neon green over the last few years, both around the Chi-town area and at the various joints around the state that honor me by carrying The Greatest Dog. Wendy's, surprisingly enough for a chain place, had a pretty damn good Chicago Dog until the mid 90s (though you couldn't find it south of Litchfield) and though I don't think they rocked the Vienna Beef they did get the ultra bright relish dead on.
