Wow, it didn't take long at all for David Morse to become the biggest heel on television. Fortunately, he's got no chance in hell of making this one stick.

This was one of those episodes where the diagnosis was kind of easy to see coming. Watching, I was thinking that there had to be more to the evil father than just being a bigot who didn't want his son going out with a black girl. (Naturally, he turned out to be the key to the whole thing.) Tying that in with Foreman's awesome con job, it rolled this ep up into a nice little package that transformed into a superstar one for Omar Epps. I also like that we're seeing some forward progress on all the "House says Cuddy is pregnant" jokes - I'm willing to bet that when he gives up on it will coincide with when she actually does get pregnant. Still would like to see a Chase-centric story in the coming weeks, though.

Thoughts, peoples?

I thought it was a great episode, but I might have just been excited to have House back on the air after a month of preemptions. I can't wait to see where they're going with the Detective. The preview for the next episode makes it looks like House is going to be in a lot of trouble.

David Morse reminds me of an older Mr. Kennedy...

I was just happy that someone FINALLY stood up to Hosue and did nto take his crap. As much as a love House (even though he is a blatant rip off of Scrubs' Dr. Cox), I was smilling when the Detective kicked his cane. I was even happier when he got arrested. Of course, this will lead to him being in jail and his cell mate falling ill and House gettign a pardon from jail to treat him, but at least LOGICALLY they did the right thing by having someone stand up to him.

Good episode and it seemed like it was all about House being wrong the whole time. Nice.

I thought it was a great episode. I even thought House was even meaner tonight then he has been in the last little while, and I loved it when the detective actually fought back. I am so happy that this show is back.

I just watched it last night. Loved how smart-assed Cameron was! It was about time that she got a little snarky with House.
I also loved the fact David Morse fought back. I used to hate his character on St Elsewhere, being the push-over that he was. So I love seeing him kick a little ass!

It's odd, because he's pretty much as much of an asshole as House is, but because House has been around longer, I want him to "win" even though Morse is totally justified here.
And quite a depressing episode, really! In a good way, of course.
