As much as I want to get this, I'm gonna pass.
Boxed sets of movies have become pointless because they'll just put out another one a year or two later making it a waste of cash. Look at the STAR TREK movie boxed sets or the LORD OF THE RINGS boxed sets or the STAR WARS boxed sets and it kinda just makes you wanna fucking kill the marketing people for fucking with your head everytime some asshole wants a new private jet or some shit.

The thing with a box set of this magnitude is that it's infinitely easier to draw a line under any more purchases once you have something as definitive-looking as this. It's like the LOTR movies-sure, I'd like to see the new documentaries on those limited editions. But I have my twelve-disc box set, and that's as exhaustive as I need it to be. So I'll be buying this set. While I'm sure the WB can come up with more stuff to put on a future release, I doubt it would improve on this loaded set THAT much.

Yeesh. If I want my Superman fix, I'll just get I, II and Returns. III and IV were so bad that even Warner Brothers said, when setting the continuity for Returns, "We'll make I and II part of this new Superman's past, and pretend III and IV never happened."
