I admit, I liked the episode, though a few segments just didn't work for me. The guest spot from Martin Short was really badly done, as was the parody of the Dixie Chicks' "NOT READY TO MAKE NICE" song. However, the Deal Or No Deal sketch was funny as hell.
John Cena? He has charisma, but seemed out of his element working with Bobby Lee. I think he would have done better with Keegan-Michael Key or Nicole Parker, myself.
Oh, and I cant remember the name of the "Internet comic" they showed during the show, but I never want to see him again. I didn't find him funny at all.
The rest of the show was decent, though. Props to John for his work, but he'll never be as polished at sketch comedy as the Rock. Now...I think the Big Show would do really well on Mad TV someday.

Yep. I was actually wondering if they were doing that 'cause of Dane hosting SNL at roughly the same time.
No more Frank Caliendo? No more Paul Vogt? Boooo. About the only sketches I have enjoyed on Mad TV lately were the Lillian Vernor sketches, but that was due mostly to the announcer character. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
