Well, I watched game four, and I'm very sad. Despite the 3-0 score, the Leafs deserved to win that one and make it a series again. I have to hand it to Irbe, though I never thought HE'D be the goalie to beat us.
The Leafs did manage to infuriate me with the number of passes that went wide / took a funny hop / went right to a 'cane / etc...

As far as the Leafs, alas. But why are they playing Anders Eriksson instead of Nathan Dempsey???? ARGGHHH. | Net Hack Slasher

Why isn't Dempsey being played ? Well rumor has it that Dempsey is in Quinns doghouse because the last time he was in contract talks Dempsey's agent was really pushing Quinns buttons. I think Dempseys a free agent very soon and Quinn is now returning the screw job in not letting him get any spotlight time.
Which is bush league in Quinns part (whose of course both coach and GM), Dempsey is a way better player then the awful Eriksson. Every time Eriksson gets the puck it makes me nervous as hell. He is taking his personal feelings and hurting his own team.... Wow isn't that right out of a smarky wrestling report...lol
As for Carolina, they are really giving me this Florida Panthers '96 feel where they went to the finals out of no where

Okay, why the hell didn't (can't remember his name) get a penalty late in the third period. He punched Eric Kole to put him down, and then kicked him when he tried to get his stick untangled. A powerplay at the end of the third would've helped. | Ike

Oh, and Goon, looks like you got your wish. Dempsey played and made a great showing of himself. If it IS politics that kept him out of the line up, it's total bullshit and may have cost them game four. Hopefully Quinn keeps him in the lineup when he's back behind the bench for game six. Hopefully he benches Reichel while he's at it.
The Leafs have to play better as a team for the whole game this time, they can't depend on Joseph to save their asses twice more. | The Goon

Of course, I was at a ball last night, so now I'm feeling superstitious that I need to go out again Tuesday night for the Buds to win the game!
Good to see the series get a bit more physical as well.
