Bottom line is they were almost even from this quarter last year, dropping just $0.2 mil.
They trumpet the success of ECW - probably wasn't a concidence they got a deal done last night - and note that they're signed thru the year.
Selected highlights - They got $0.2 revenue from ECW house shows, and $0.3 from international house shows (just two sold shows in Central America), down from $5.7 this time last year. - So how'd they still post a good number? DVDs - up $6 mil, approxmentaly 1.1mil DVDs sold this quarter. - They hadn't released the PPV buy rates in quite some time. They're fairly close to last year, with this year's ONS a slightly bigger success. If UFC was actually getting the buy rate numbers people have been suggesting, then they were getting 2 or 3 times the people watching their PPV events somewhere along here. It's not really close. - still no info on how much they're actually going to end up making on See No Evil. It's not new, but always interesting to note this comparision
$ spent on film production: $12.6mil $ spent on buying wrestling tape libaries: $1.5mil
The quarterly confrence call is at 10 am, so if you want to be shocked/amazed/upset that they don't answer any real questions this time either, I guess you need to get to dialing. Promote this thread! | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
