Woooooooooooo! The Pacers finally got the job done, trading a 2007 first-round draft pick (and their trade exception) to the Atlanta Hawks for Al Harrington and (also a former Pacer) John Edwards.

Woooooooooooooooooooo, happy day!

Hopefully Harrington's time in NBA Siberia tempered his hubris and made him realize he shouldn't have left to begin with.

...then realizing he doesn't have Reggie Miller or Ron Artest to help, he would have to carry more of the load on the current squad. Considering the potential of the other teams in the Central Division next year, I'm not sure how good the Pacers will be.

As a Hawks fan, I'm sooo pleased that Billy Knight only gotten a measly draft pick. Good JOB BILLY~!

I dunno, the Pacers lost Scot Pollard, Anthony Johnson, Freddy Jones, Peja Stojakovic, and Austin Croshere, and have acquired 11 different players since the end of last season. While I think we're better on paper, I don't think there's any way to accurately predict how the Pacers are going to do next year.

But I approach the coming season with cautious optimism.
