OPENING: Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit FFFFFFFFFFLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOORRRR!

Does ECW have enough steam to stand it on own welcome to an ACTUAL old school ECW arena.

WOW, we have a tag team match. Sandman and Tommy taking on Test and Mike Knox. What they're showing review while the entrance is going on. Ok, don't show us how an actual ECW show is supposed to be. Hey it's EXTREME RULES! ECW chant. If these two JOB here there is going to be a RIOT. They better put the ECW faithful over tonight. You suck DICK chant as they the pod down the audience. She's got HERPIES! Pomp pomp Sandman. Man, I can't cover the action from the crowd chant. Well it didn't stay in tag format. You can't wrestle at Test and Knox. Dreamer saves Sandman. DDT and White russian leg sweep. ECW chant. Everything but the kitchen sink is out. We want tables chant. I've now turned up my TV to where they turned down the audience. Barbwire wooden bed. Big ECW CHANT! Test saves Knox with the Kendo Stick. Trash can knocks Test to the outside. Kelly protects...Knox. Sandman throws Kelly in the ring. Sandman cains Knox. Dreamer has fun with Kelly Kelly in the ring. Wait it's the Riot guards of Heyman. Heyman sold out chant. Into the barbwire! They leave...in Test picks up Dreamer and throws him back in the barbwire. Pulls him up TKO! 1...2...3! Test and Knox win! I'm waiting for the hand guns to be pulled out and the fire, riot, and craziness to start.

***AD BREAK*** I will only be half surprised the fans have knocked down the railing and stormed the ring.

Back: Heyman in the back and is going to explain himself yet nobody wants to listen to him. Hey it's Francine! She turns around on him. Sabu...he wants Big Show. Heyman says Show is a long term investment. Sabu chant. Hey, he's going to do it. C.M. Punk. DEBUT next!

***AD BREAK*** Well the place hasn't burnt down yet.

Back: Justin Credible! Hey he won by DQ last week. I think he's going under CM! ECW know CM! Sign says they paid to see CM Punk. Justin Asshole. Mat wrestling with CM Punk. To the corner. Crowd really into CM Punk. Credible breaking out the Sharpshooter. Springboard clothesline for two count. Punk gets Justin in a submission! YES! Punk wins! Ok, I only half watched that match because I knew he'd win. I'll have to wait to see where Punk goes in the mix.

***AD BREAK***

Back: WTF it's the Brooklyn Bralwer on ECW. Hey it's ANGLE! Welcome back chant by ECW Fans. Headbutt! Ankle LOCK! TAPPING! Wow! Shows roll of footage.

***AD BREAK***

Back: Ariel talking...they have to live in the Shawdows. He is Kevin Thorn. Great...he will have the blood of ECW. Hey, Show's out. Big RVD chant. Whoa! Holy crap...he stopped...he just broke character! What did you say? I'm surprised he just didn't kill that fan. Big BOO! Batista is HEEL here. Well, there was the roll of toilet paper. Mixed reaction my ASS! They hate them! You both SUCK! Chant. Some quick action or slow action. We're getting a run in!

***AD BREAK***

Back: Still getting booed out of the building...same old shit chant. Boring chant. Change the Channel! Yes!!! Listen to them! Prove to the E that this is the wrong direction. Another RVD chant. Spinebuster. Boring chant. Chokeslam...he kicked out at two. Kickout after a move I've seen but don't have a name for...there it is finally...a DQ and it looked like it was headed that way any ways. Great...SABU!!! Arabian Face Buster to the back of Show! Show through another TABLE! We're out at 11:04...after two minutes of talk.

Well, if Sabu must speak, I'll take the Mandy Patinkin voice he displayed tonight over the generic wrestler voice he had before

I got home in time to catch the main event. Man, that crowd was just BRUTAL!

"Same Old Shit!"
"Boring!"

And the worst chant of all?

"Change the channel!"

When your own live audience is shouting at viewers to change the channel, you KNOW it's gotten bad.

The sad thing is, it wasn't even that horrible a match. I thought for sure the suplex spot would have gotten something out of the crowd, but they weren't having ANY of it. The fact that they popped huge for Sabu, though, should give WWE a clue that a lot of people want the REAL ECW. It should. It SHOULD! Gas prices SHOULD be below $2.00. But it's not gonna happen.

What a downer.

The first 40-minutes of that show was actually the best ECW on Sci-Fi yet. A fun little show.

The Show/Batista match, however, sucked out all of the energy. At least the crowd was entertaining.

And Sabu speaking was so awesome.

"I told you. I want... the Big Show." in the EXACT same voice and tone as the "Wax on. Wax off." guy.

It was a GREAT main event, I'd rather watch that than any Raw or Smackdown Main Event. I love the way the crowded shitted on them the entire match. Something about carwrecks that keeps you wanting more....
Was it me or did they turn the Crowd output down just a tad bit?

I think the fans were trying to tell Vince something.

Nice shot of Vince in the background, when Heyman was walking through the tv room backstage.

No it wasn't just you...they did it right at the beginning of the show because I had my TV turned down. I actually had to turn it up to hear the crowd as the commentary was freaking BLARING.

Yep, after "You suck dick!" went out audibly over the airwaves about five or six times!!

Did anybody notice that little gesture of Heyman's while he's standing there watching his goons manhandle dreamer?

The one that provoked me to exclaim "Now Paul E. Raven, CUT THAT S**T OUT!" I'm almost tempted to start the "What about me, what about Heyman?" pool!! On what episode will he finally come out and say it?

That being said, I really liked this show. Shame the main event kinda sucked the heat out of the room, although it had it's moments.

"Get off the cross/Paul E. we need the wood..." ;)

The Batista vs. Show match wasn't a car wreck. It wasn't bad for what it was: a power guy taking on a 500lb giant. It's not like those two Brock Lesnar and Goldberg-ed it out there. It's not their fault they had to go out there, it's whoever's booking the show (I'm looking at you, Vince.) Show and Batista did their best in a hostile situation that the guys booking the show put them in.

The rest of the show was pretty good. I'd concur: best ECW on Sci Fi episode yet. Getting ECW away from those Smackdown tapings with those little kids in Rey shirts running around and back to the main (angry, bitter) fanbase that doesn't like WWE = entertainment.

That's the first of the new ECW shows that I'm keeping. That was a blast.

The Brooklyn Brawler. I popped for the Brooklyn Brawler.

Justin Credible actually got to look...credible...in a match.

You KNEW Sandman and Dreamer were going to lose, but at least they got to do their thing. Why they're pushing Test (a.k.a. "Crowd Killer") I'll never know.

That crowd was awesome. The way they went nuts when Dreamer and Sandman pulled out the barbwire board, and they way they dumped on the main event...Gotta love a true ECW crowd.

Stevie Richards is still the most wasted talent in the business.

Pretty damn good show.

The main event was easily the weakest show of the card, but even that wasn't THAT bad a match. And while I never called it before the show on this board, I KNEW for a fact that this match was gonna be boo'ed like hell at the Ballroom. A WWE by-product like Batista, who's also not known for his workrate is most definitely gonna get booed even against the Big Show. Hell, I would've been surprised if they actually cheered Batista, then I'd be shocked. This was no different than a Smackdown or Raw match. At the same time, the crowd so made this match. Perhaps by booing it out, they may have hurt the potential of the match by making the two guys nervous as hell, but it still was mad entertaining. Oh, and the fans didn't boo the superplex. It actually stopped the consistent boo'ing for a bit.

EDIT! Oh yeah, and if Vince actually thought Batista would get cheered, he better check to see if he's in touch with the very industry he practically owns. Even I knew my boy Batista was gonna get heckled, and I'm not even a CEO of the whole thing.

CM Punk was pretty cool. I'd like to see more of the guy, and I dig his look. He's got superstar potential. Big time.

I do find it a bit amused (not in an annoyed sense) that the crowd would say things like "You BOTH SUCK!" and then cheer someone like the Sandman.

During the Test & Knox v. Sandman & Dreamer match, the fans chanted "You can't wrestle" at Test. Which I thought was funny, since, as far as pure in-ring goes, Test just might be the best of the four.

What's this talk of them lowering the audio on the crowd? It was pretty damn loud on my TV consistently. They totally let the cheers (or should I say jeers?) reign.

Show was jaw-jacking with that fan in the orange shirt in the front row right after Show got in the ring.

Yes, that would be what I'm talking about. I mean it looked like he was going to walk past whatever the dude said but then he stopped and turned around. I mean dead tracks and turned and asked "What did you say?" The fan repeated whatever it was...Bastita says "Oh, really." Then something to the effect of step over that and we'll prove it. Bastista was audiable...that's and the way he was talking just didn't seem like character. Eh...just looked interesting.

Actually I'm watching the tape now and the guy talkin smack to Batista actually coiled back a little after Batista broke character, and amusingly enough just when Batista finally turned around and continued walking, the guy goes back out and feels safe to shout whatever he said out. Pretty funny. Awesome f'in crowd tonight.
