From Zap2It.com -- NBC has picked up "Nobody's Watching" for development after it failed to go on The WB in 2005.

The show's creator is Scrubs' Bill Lawrence; on the YouTube link to the pilot it purports that it's written by the writers of Scrubs and Family Guy.

It wasn't bad; if they could add a bit more edge to it, I think it would click better. However, FWIW it was pretty good, cheap pops and all.

I liked the show quite a bit, however most of the really funny stuff ("No dad!" and "Oklahoma... AWESOME") were pretty much one time jokes. I'd have to see a few episodes before really judging its value.

Same here.

Pretty good for a pilot. For the most part I liked the characters, but there were certain times where they were grating on me. I liked the idea of it going back and forth from film (with an "audience") to video, but found myself enjoying scenes with the latter much more than the former as the episode went on. All in all, I enjoyed the pilot and liked the format, but wonder if a series like this really has any long-term potential. I could see it getting old pretty quickly.

Smash TV/Crash TV, meets sitcom, and meets a reality show all rolled into one. It was something totally fresh to me and I LOVED watching the pilot on youtube. Wow...I'll actually have to flip back to network to watch this show however long it's on. Great stuff.
