I know this won't interest the US, but...
--Regarding Wednesday's WWE press conference in Toronto that he wrote about yesterday. According to several sources in the Canadian TV industry, Raw will be moving from TSN to The Score in just a few weeks. A decline in Raw ratings combined with TSN acquiring the rights to Monday Night Football in September led to the decision, which is sort of mutual, although technically TSN decided to walk away from the deal. It should also be noted that The Score has acquired rights to TNT's early game NBA package next season on Thursday, when Smackdown is still running, so there will likely be another Canadian change within a few months. What we have been able to confirm is the final episode of on TSN will be 7/31. TSN and WWE were unable to reach an agreement about how Raw would be presented on the station during football season. When push came to shove, TSN was going to have to decide between WWE and Monday Night Football, and in that position, they chose football.
Wow... that's pretty big, considering that the Score isn't seen in as many households as TSN. But I guess that they are officially the "Wrestling Channel" now.

Earlier this year, The Score bumped up the start of Smackdown by an hour or so one night when they had a basketball game set. Because it's a pre-taped show, they have that luxury, rather than having to delay it until the game is done.
As for the news of Raw moving, I know some people won't be happy due to the ever-present sports ticker on the bottom of the screen, but it doesn't bother me. Nothing wrong with catching up on scores during a resthold. ;)

I'm very happy about this news: I find the news jockeys on the Score to be a whole lot less irritating than the jockeys on TSN.
When I watch Smackdown on the Score, I never seem to notice the ticker at the bottom of the screen. Yet, even though the ticker on TSN isn't on all the time, I notice it more because they have some kind of a tone before it shows.
Finally, I've noticed that the Score doesn't censor anything, even violent moves against women. Wonder if that'll hold up...
