Went to see it today to kill time before work, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the usual Sandler comedy but it did offer a nice little lesson during the second half of the movie. It's nice how they get right to the point of the story, the case being Sandler's character looking for a remote and all sorts of zany things happen. The visual gags are funny enough, Henry Winkler & Julie Kavner work well as the sweet old couple and Adam Sandler is a much better actor than I ever knew him to be (coming from someone who's never seen his serious roles like Spanglish). And a movie will automatically score points with me everytime an ugly redhead kid gets owned. Overall, a very enjoyable movie, but I wouldn't go out of my way to pay to see it again.
PS: David Cassidy can sure produce some damn attractive kids

I just got back from seeing this. I gotta disagree. It's clever, but you can tell right away its him. I liked it, there were a couple of times that I thought attempted jokes didn't get reactions and it was predictable plot wise, but still good. A decent date movie if you need one.
