Went to see it today to kill time before work, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the usual Sandler comedy but it did offer a nice little lesson during the second half of the movie. It's nice how they get right to the point of the story, the case being Sandler's character looking for a remote and all sorts of zany things happen. The visual gags are funny enough, Henry Winkler & Julie Kavner work well as the sweet old couple and Adam Sandler is a much better actor than I ever knew him to be (coming from someone who's never seen his serious roles like Spanglish). And a movie will automatically score points with me everytime an ugly redhead kid gets owned. Overall, a very enjoyable movie, but I wouldn't go out of my way to pay to see it again.

PS: David Cassidy can sure produce some damn attractive kids

Talk.

Saw it last weekend and loved it. And Kate Beckinsale in freaking hot.

I don't understand the David Cassidy reference.

I believe he's referring to Katie Cassidy (imdb.com).

I'm waiting on DVD for this one...it looks like it could be fun, but I'm not a huge fan of Adam Sandler.

The movie critic in People magazine gave it 1 star saying it was Adam Sandler's take on "It's A Wonderful Life".

I was talking to my wife last night and we both thought "Click" may be the best Sandler movie ever made. And we have seen all but "Going Overboard" and "Spanglish".

Does Rob Schneider* appear in this one?
Does he say "You can do it!" ?

Do I really have to ask?

*or Steve Buschemi (sp)?

I saw Rob Schneider. He is hard to spot. He plays an Arab and wore heavy makeup for the part. No he doesn't say "You can do it". I don't even think he got a credit though.

I did not see Steve Buscemi.

I also did not see Sandler's 3 buddies that appear in everything with him:

Allen Covert: the limo driver in "The Wedding Singer"
Peter Dante: the QB from "The Waterboy"
Jonathan Loughran: the football player with the goofy eye in "The Waterboy"

I just got back from seeing this. I gotta disagree. It's clever, but you can tell right away its him.
I liked it, there were a couple of times that I thought attempted jokes didn't get reactions and it was predictable plot wise, but still good. A decent date movie if you need one.

But you were looking for him too. If you weren't sure it was him, you may have missed him. I didn't realize it was him until one of the guys with him gave him five.
