Soon-to-be-RAW superstar Harry Smith had a full page of the Calgary Herald's Entertainment section devoted to him this morning. For those interested who didn't get the paper (likely because they don't live in the city of Calgary), you can read the article here

Great story ... I'm curious to see if he will be labeled with the "British Bulldog" moniker.

I like how the article mentioned that a lot of heavyweights on the RAW brand were injured ... nothing about the Smackdown roster decimation.

He's not British, so probably not!

Dynamite is not exactly the world's swellest guy either. (Despite being a Great Worker.)

He may have been born in Canada, but doesn't the fact that his father is British make him British? Even more so if you think that he considers himself British, or at least part British.

I've seen him billed as Harry "Bulldog" Smith before.

Obviously, you're the Brit, so I defer to your wisdom on this one, but I would think that the Candian-born-and-raised son of an Englishman might consider himself English, but would be less likely to consider himself British. "English" suggests an ethnicity, whereas "British" would really be more of a nationality. Granted, I haven't really been paying attention, but I don't think I've ever heard any Americans of English or Scottish or Welsh or Northern Irish descent describe themselves as "British," though they may use one of the former terms when talking about their background. Am I far off the mark here?
