During the clips on the website, I'm hearing the older, but last week, it was the newer one.

The Game for his match entry at the start, But he may have been on later to King of Kings (I know it played, but I was dozing and playing poker), or it may have been a commercial for the CD coming out

In The Rick's recap of Raw ( http://www.onlineonslaught.com/recaps/raw/20060508.shtml ), he says that Triple H came to the ring at the start of the show with his old music. He says that was because they were saving "King of Kings" for when they showed Lemmy from Motorhead at ringside.

I assumed he came out to "The Game" because he was in his ring gear. "King of Kings" seems to be his street-clothes music.

I've read somewhere, and I apologise for not putting a source, but I just can't remember where right now, that May 19th 1998, Paul Bearer revealed that Kane was his son.

How this is relevant, I have no idea, but it's (possibly, probably not though) something to think about.

Close. It was 5/18/98. http://slashwrestling.com/raw/980518.html

Oh, well. It was an interesting theory.

That being said, it's only a one day difference. It wouldn't be the first time WWE have slightly revised history for their own gains.

I think people are spending a lot of time looking for a past plot point to explain May 19th. The one constant thing you can pull from Kane's history: the new wacky story doesn't have anything to do with the old wacky story, and probably conflicts wiht if they you think about it all. They're not detective mystery writers, they're lazy cheap ones who'll write whatever fits the angle at the moment, regardless of if makes sense for the character.

Don't strain yourself trying to find clues which aren't there, is all I'm saying. They probably don't exist.

(unless there's something in the book)
