Not funny at all. Kobe gets that flak because he does nothing to make anyone around him better. It's Kobe or nothing, even when they had Shaq. At least that's what the critics say. LeBron, on the other hand, actually - you know - passes the ball and stuff.

I don't know if I'd go that far. Odom is better than anyone on the Cavs not named LeBron but; I'll take the 4/5 combo of Z, Gooden, and Carlitto Carribean Varejao over Kwame, Mihm, and Cook. Hughes (even him being injured much of the season) and Murray are better than anyone on the Lakers (sans Kobe and Odom) and I like the Cavs remaining rotation players Marshall, Snow, and Jones better than Parker, Walton, and George.

The big difference, like StingArmy said, is that LeBron looks to pass and get others involved.

Sigh.

Talk about a disappointing end to a game. I guess LeBron was trying to hit the open man in the corner (who was that anyway?), but talk about poor clock management! I jumped up and starting screaming "GO!" when he started dawdling in the backcourt. Sure, he may have been double-teamed, so shooting may not have been an option, but he CERTAINLY could have given his team more than 1.4 seconds to get up a shot. What if he didn't get fouled? Would there have even been TIME for a 3-point shot? And what if that shot missed? There definitely wasn't time for a second chance.

Very, very disappointing.

Yet another instance of a team holding a timeout at the last possession and inexplicably not using it. We sure seem to be seeing a lot of that during these Playoffs...

This won't be the first time you hear it and I'm sure a lot of people have already made mention of this...

Larry Hughes returns. Cavs lose.

Coincidence?

Larry Hughes didn't play, so I imagine this is the first and last time I'm going to hear this.

Were you thinking Lebron was NOT getting a National TV Game 7? On a Sunday, no less!

Nag,

You were right, I was wrong. Go figure. I guess that's ok, though. I am married, so I am used to being wrong.

Well, here's to next year(TM). Immediate scuttlebutt pretty much centers around whether anything can/will be done to address what the heck happened to Z in the playoffs. I have to wonder what changes can/will be made to this Cavs team to try to improve their performance. Hopefully a healthy and present Hughes makes a difference. I don't see Flip sticking around as he'll want starter $$$. Also can't wait for LeBron to sign his extension this summer.

My hope for the upcoming Pistons/Heat series is that somebody repeatedly punches Rasheed in the face, then the Pistons win. That way, it will be that much sweeter to take them down next year.

Dude, why do you hate me? That would be a worse way to lose than knowing that Shaq and Wade were both injured in that Game 7 last year.

And it's not like Alonzo is above doing just that, either.

I think someone might want to point out to LeBron that all Cavs not named 'LeBron' went 9-for-41 (nba.com) in Game 7 of a playoff series.

Although I will concede that ABC's montage of Cleveland sports failures at the end of the game was brutal and unnecessary.
