We warmed up by attending the Arborfest (familytreeclinic.org) where many local beers were sampled and much money was raised to kill babies. (Sneaky!) Also, there was a jammin' band and a band that was quite less jammin'. (Hint: covering Dixie Chicks is much less palatable than actual Dixie Chicks)

ANYWAY, nothing very strenuous or challenging when you're already feeling sauced - I mean, saucy - no...I do mean sauced, I guess:

"Touch Me" by The Doors
"Tomorrow" by Silverchair (R)
"Every Day I Love You Less and Less" by Kaiser Chiefs (R)

I immediately pictured you re-enacting the scene in "The Doors" depicting one Morrisson's drunken meltdowns.

No way. You can only stand there and look cool for so long. The age bracket is only up to 34. If that still makes the grade at Staraoke, get with it already. Not that I'm bitter about someone singing the Doors!

I'm waiting for oHIo. Topical AND easy to sing. It's Neil Young...10 soldiers and Nixon coming. Like Sunday morning

Ooh, a Silverchair cover. I don't think I've ever heard anyone do that in karaoke before. Good call.

Except for the fact that that particular song is the worst song I've ever heard. Fat boy! Fat boy!
