With two episodes next week, That 70's Show is riding off into the sunset. Or limps off, having shot itself in the foot several times. Whichever you prefer.

The point is that a long-time staple of my slowly-decreasing TV viewership is going away. And it never even got a thread icon... *sniff*

Did Fox ever confirm if Topher and Ashton are returning for the finale? This Fez/Jackie stuff is just painful.

I just saw an "Only 5 more episodes left!" promo earlier this week and there was no mention of Topher or Ashton, so probably not. I wonder why they (The show & those 2) couldnt pull it together. Anybody know what ever happened to the original Laurie Foreman?

My Comcast guide states that Kelso shows up for the New Year's Eve party, so I would assume that Ashton will be there. Don't know about Topher, though it would be nice to have him show up ...

She got fired because of the drugs. I remember reading that when it happened after Season 3 (I think), and it's on her imdb.com page AND her Wikipedia page, therefore it MUST be true.

I know I'm a little slow to the show (and please forgive if this was already well-known), but I just noticed NOW that every episode this season is named after a Queen song. That's pretty nice.

(TSS-821/822) Love of My Life/That '70s Finale
(TSS-820) Sheer Heart Attack
(TSS-819) Leaving Home Ain't Easy
(TSS-818) We Will Rock You
(TSS-817) Son and Daughter
(TSS-816) Crazy Little Thing Called Love
(TSS-815) My Fairy King
(TSS-814) Keep Yourself Alive
(TSS-813) Spread Your Wings
(TSS-812) Killer Queen
(TSS-811) Who Needs You
(TSS-810) Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
(TSS-809) Sweet Lady
(TSS-808) Good Company
(TSS-807) Fun It
(TSS-806) Long Away
(TSS-805) Misfire
(TSS-804) You're My Best Friend
(TSS-803) Stone Cold Crazy
(TSS-801/802) Bohemian Rhapsody/Somebody to Love

Anyway, Ashton is scheduled to guest-star in the finale...no mention of Topher. It'd be a cool surprise appearance though if it's being kept secret.

The original ran off and married Fez at the end of one season and the new Laurie was the one faking it to INS in the next season.

But I think they brought back the original Laurie Foreman after that one season switch. Kind of like bringing back the oldest daughter on "Roseanne".

and according to imdb, the only thing she has done recently was a comedy short called "The Foodchain: A Hollywood Scarytale" (imdb.com) - no user votes or reviews

WAAF here in Boston had on Kurtwood Smith earlier this week, and he was asked about Topher and Ashton. He said they would be there for the finally.
