Will anyone take a chance on this guy?
I thought that ATL would drop a late pick on him if he was around. Promote this thread! | | StaggerLee

Problem with Atlanta taking him would have been when he goes to camp and sucks they would have had to cut him, which would piss off Michael, or waste a roster spot or cap space hiding him on IR. When in doubt on a team who might take a chance on a wayward soul, just think Al Davis. As for where he could play, if he can commit a crime in the same jurisdiction, Marcus Vick/Maurice Clarett would make a fine backfield for a fortunate penitentiary. | StingArmy

Funny thing is, he does have some skills at QB, certainly better natural passing ability than big brother, but doesn't possess the same explosiveness. No one will pick him up, at least, not at first. | Wpob

During the later parts of the draft, calls go out to players who may not be drafted by teams telling them they will sign them as a FA once the draft ends. But so far, not one mention of Vick. I have a feeling he will have to go North and prove himself for a year or two before someone is going to give him a fair chance. | Mayhem

| #8 Posted on 3.5.06 0107.43 Reposted on: 3.5.13 0109.38 | Hee, it would be such wonderfully delicious karma if Vick got himself booted from Virginia Tech, saying, "It's OK baby, I'll just go on to the next level", didn't get drafted and then didn't even catch on with any NFL team as a free agent.
Because let's be honest, he's done some pretty bad things. And the thought of him making it in the NFL and making millions of dollars is kinda sickening. I know, there have been worse people who've made more money, but... is it wrong to ask for someone to get their just desserts this once? | drjayphd
