Haven't seen this topic discussed on here, but PWInsider (among others), as well as a couple of interviews with the man himself, have stated that Harry Smith, son of the late Davey Boy Smith, will be debuting with the company sometime this summer.

The report that I read stated that he would be bypassing the developmental territories and heading straight for one of the main rosters.

For those of you that have seen his work, is he a power guy like his dad or does he have the technical prowess of his uncles? I'm just curious as to what to expect from the guy. He definitely has the lineage to be a star, but could he be overhyped?

I havent seen him yet either, but I have to assume he's gotta have something pretty good about himself to make The E bypass OVW & DSW and send him straight to the pros, unless they're planning on getting him over soley by pushing the fact that he's DaveyBoy's son, in which case I dont like his chances.

Reminds me of the question of what ever happened to David Flair ?

It would be kinda of interesting if the WWE made a stable of famous wrestlers offspring. Have them be a bunch of spoiled loud-mouthed cocky hooligans.

Didn't TNA try that with Erik Watts, Brian Lawler & David Flair? That went over like a turd in a punchbowl.

The last time I saw Harry, which was about 4 years ago, he was very green and pretty gangly. The photos of him I've seen lately show he's filled out quite a bit and is a lot more mature in the ring. He's nothing like Teddy Hart. Harry wants to learn and also wants to avoid the same mistakes his dad made. I hope he makes it and that the WWE can use him. I can see him making a big splash in the cruiser division, if he's still in that weight range.

Well according to the Wiki stub of him, he's 6'6 and 255.
I dunno if they work those or not on Wiki. Even if he is closer to 6'2 or 6'3 and 220-230 he'd be a bit bigger than the average cruiserweight.

Other places, including his profile on ObsessedWithWrestling.com, seem to more or less confirm those stats (6'6", 251 lbs).
