And you know, it's not as bad as it was, just a year or two ago, since it seems like every show is coming out on DVD, but..
For me, it's NYPD Blue. I was devoted to that show. Tuesdays at 10PM were fixed for it seems like forever for both Mrs. AWA and I for years. I think she liked it more than I did. I still think it's the closest to depicting real coppertude (that was me in a former life) of any cop show.
But the DVDs? Heck, I'd never get around to them....

I don't remember actually being on any show, so I soon realized that's not what you meant!
I miss Homicide: Life on the Street. The DVD sets ease the pain, but I new shows would be good. Maybe I will have to try Andre Braugher's new show, eh?

I miss "Angel". While it can be argued that the series was getting a bit stale, I think that the last season was strong and had quite a few possibilities for the future. I'm still hoping that a movie is in the works, but if Joss decides not to go that route, I understand and still have the DVDs to fall back on.

Which was why I was going to be smarmy and say the game show I did for my high school's local access station. But now I won't.
I, too, miss Homicide. And the real That 70's Show (this season is actually the first season of a spinoff called "What Would Happen if That 70's Show Sucked?").

For some weird reason, in my dreams I still think that show still airs opposite the Price is Right. Those ad naseum reruns got to my head.

Homicide and Angel, definitely.
I think Enterprise was cut just as the new creative team was starting to turn it around, and I wish they'd had at least a few more seasons to see what they could do.
And while Babylon 5 overstayed its welcome, I wish JMS had had more time with Crusade.

Very good. And being a journalism major with broadcasting experience, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring to replace the late Robert Stack.

I liked Viva Variety. Along those same lines I miss "The State" on MTV as well as new episodes of Beavis and Butthead.
It is not off yet but I will miss "The West Wing" when it takes a final bow in a few weeks. I have watched that show since Day One and I hate to see it go.

Angel is at the top of my list by far.
Dead Like Me and Deeps Space Nine would also make the list of shows that I miss watching. I guess Arrested Development is also on the list now too.
And Hercules The Legendary Journeys is one that I miss watching on TV too. Even if it was just re-runs. Growing up, Saturday 4-6pm was Hercules/Xena.
I've got all the DVDs for these shows, but it's just not the same as turning on the TV and catching your favorite show. You also lose a lot of the build-up when the commercial act-break takes only 2 seconds to be resolved instead of a couple minutes.
