I thought the Texas Monthly article on Kevin Von Erich a few months ago said he owned the tape libraries of World Class and Mid South. Since the feuds b/t the Freebirds and the Von Erichs were legendary (at least in this area of the country) it wouldn't surprise me so see a best of released some day.

The 2nd ex-wife of Bill Watts (and mother of Erik) owns the Mid-South & UWF tape libraries and I believe received them in the divorce settlement. Smart woman. She is selling DVDs at a site run by her and one of Bill's other (non-wrestling) sons, Micah, at www.universalwrestling.com
Kevin Von Erich being the lone surviving member of the family has the rights to the World Class library. I had heard he was in negotiations to sell the library to WWE back at WWE Homecoming but I never saw if it was a done deal or not. There was a "Best Of The Von Erichs" released by VCI Entertainment a year or so ago. VCI's website is http://www.vcihomevideo.com/
I don't work for either company, I just know the info from working for a local fed here in Tulsa and we had a working agreement with VCI. Don't regard this as a shill.
