Count me in as one who got a kick out of Mordecai. It was one freaky gimmick. I liked it.

Now, with Test...maybe they just want to shut him up or something. I mean, now that he's back, he won't spew anti-WWE sentiment on his site, right?

Test has a web site? Do you really think ANYONE is reading Test's web site?

I would rather see them bring back Matt Morgan than Test. At least he was showing potential (regardless of stupid stuttering gimmick). Test has proved time and time again he doesn't have what it takes. Just like Billy GunnAss. Then again, they are also giving Animal a singles puch, so this dumb ass move shouldn't surprise anyone.

I don't know that I'd necessarily agree. Test showed some potential from time to time. Granted, he was never a tremendous wrestler, or talker, and there were times I wanted to shoot out my TV screen during the Test-Stiener-Stacy love triangle thing. But he put on a few decent matches.

Like I said, so long as they keep him away from main events, his return seems pretty harmless to me.

His best stuff was absolutely during his time feuding with Shane McMahon, but he always came across to me as one of those guys that's great as a tag team wrestler, but just can't hold an audience as a singles guy. Find the right guy to team him up with (a big guy like Snitsky or Masters) and you've got an impressive tag team. It's not a team that's AS impressive as Kane and Big Show, but that has that same kind of effect.

The problem is finding the right guy to put him with. Is there another big guy they have on the roster now that needs the same tag team protection (and is *good* in tags) that he does?

Which, of course, they didn't. I recently bought the Satan's Structure: The Anthology of the Elimination Chamber three-disc DVD set, and let me tell you... in a set filled with epic, exciting matches, the Extreme Elimination Chamber sticks out like a sore thumb.

I don't think they could possibly have booked that thing worse if they'd tried. Maybe I'll write a recap about it.

Did Test ever get revenge and payback over the Steph/Triple-H wedding angle ? His character was never the same after that de-balling.

Test would have been a very good Super Destroyer #2. Give him a mask and a manager and he would have fit right in on Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1982.

Like, a year later Triple H had to face him on RAW as punishment for some weird Russo-esque booking reason.

It was like all those matches where a wrestler has to face the Big Show as punishment for something, the announcers scream like the Big Show will kill him dead in the ring, the fans don't care at all, and when the match happens the wrestler actually has no trouble at all beating the Big Show.

I definitely think Matt Morgan should be brought back into the fold but I think Test can be useful too. I think Prophet is right about him being best as a tag team wrestler. I don't like the big man/big man tag teams though, I'd rather see a big man/little man team. So I'd rather see Test get paired up with a guy like Shane Helms.

I agree with preferring the big/little combination, but only for face teams. Plus, the big guy has to be able to work and throw decent punches, and the little guy has to be able to sell as the "face in peril". For heel teams, the big/big combo works okay.

I agree Test has never been the same after the Steph/HHH emasculation. His work with Albert was arguably the beginning of the fall of the tag team division. His angle with Steiner/Stacey lasted a long, long time, but did it ever end up getting settled. If I recall, injuries just made the angle fade away - I may have missed it. The failure to wrap up angles hurts too many characters in the long run.

If Test is really this big, I expect him to be fed to HHH shortly in a title defense.

"Test" is possibly the worst ring name of all time. Seriously -- that's not hyperbole. After all these years, it almost rolls right off me, but I mentioned him to my non-wrestling-watching wife, and she was like, "There's a wrestler named Test?!" They should use this opportunity to drop it once and for all.

For a little bit, they liberally used his name Andrew Martin with Test as a nickname. It started when Steph and Test were dating. This was about the same time Vince accused "Mark" of living too much in the Undertaker gimmick. You know, blending of reality and storylines.

The name Test has grown on me over time, aided by, as was mentioned by canis582, a kickass theme song.

Was I the only one who liked the Test-Booker T tag team? I think they should pair the two of them up on Smackdown so Booker can totally heal up. (I know Booker is wrestling again but is he still hurt in anyway?)
