Thank you all. For those who suggested Bloodsport and The Quest though, there is something to be said (in general for all forums and threads) for reading the entirety of the original post and not just answering based on the title.

How could I forget "Quick and the Dead?" I loved that movie, and the first non-nude, post Basic Instinct Sharon Stone movie.

I've watched a lot of the original UFCs. Great concept, great characters (I loved Joe San, who was also the bad guy in a lot of B-level kung-fu movies) but the big problem was even if you won, in a hard-fought prelim contest half the time the winner couldn't continue. That, plus the 1-hour+ Royce Gracie/Ken Shamrock snoozefest pretty much spelled the end of the completely open, no rules MMA tournies.

Who the hell in the inspiration for Blanka in Street Fighter II? Sumo dude as Honda, sure. Chong Li as Sagat, maybe. Dux is more Ken than Guile I think.

"Master of the Flying Guillotine" has now become my next must-see.

To me, the dude on the left is the inspiration for Blanka. He is in that stance for most of the match and is making animal like noises.

I think Dux is more like Guile because both were in the military, unlike Ken. Didn't Dux go AWOL to fight in the Kumate in the movie?

I will admit, I think I'm thinking about the guy from "Kickboxer" for Sagat (Tong Po?).

And to show how much my non-sleep is throwing me off, I just noticed you were talking about "Bloodsport" and not "Kickboxer" in the first post. I got thinking about the former because the latter was on. So, yeah, try "Kickboxer" and I'll go away now.
