Johnny Nitro's run as Bischoff's apprentice was around WM XX time, IIRC.

Kinda funny how the two who actually do all the 'working' gets paid less then the eye candy.

By 'funny', I mean sad, of course.

Absent a real source, I find it a gullibility test. (I know, I know... "gullibility" can't be found in the dictionary, either.) Please don't drag stuff like this over here if the best you can give us is "a few message boards."

FWIW, a mod on another board that posted this list said he emailed Meltzer the list to see if the info was legit. He claimed Meltzer replied that, based on what he knew certain guys were making, the info looked to be legit. The mod is big on getting his facts from Meltzer, so I tend to believe his claim.

I'm going to call shenanigans

The number that appears completely out of whack is that of Eddie Guerrero. Unless it only represents about 60% of his salary, it seems weird that his number was below Christian's and much closer to the Carlito's/Master's of the world than to the upper card where he was. Also, he and Edge appear to be the only "big name" guys without perks.
It is sad that Bob Holly earns 6 figures a year.

Same with the Bashams. IIRC, Danny Basham was still used for a while following the Bashams split, while Doug disappeared off the face of the earth.

Other way 'round. Doug had a few matches, while Danny switched to the Raw roster and was never seen on TV since.

I *think* Danny does some training in OVW, which might explain the higher salary.

Well, Eddie did pass back in November, which would only give them about 8 months worth of salary to total. If you take the given salary as evenly distributed over the course of a year it would give him a full year's salary closer to $600,000. That, I think, is more like people would assume is right.

Johnny is also a Tough Enough winner, which may lead to more ancillary benefits than whatever Joey gets in his contract.

Eddie wasn't really close to main eventing or actually main eventing (outside the occasional cluster tag match) until the last 2-3 months.

I doubt this list is true, but if it is, I want the College Professors of the United States to note how much more Coach is worth than they are.

So do the wrestlers get a piece of their merchandise and/or DVD sales? Or would they have to have been with WWE a lot longer for that to happen.

Gene Snitsky: $292,000
Gregory Helms: $277,000

Seeing these two next to each other confuses me. Wasn't Helms pulling in any merchandise-related income from his Hurricane days?

Maybe his downside guarantee is really low and he IS pulling merchandise-related income on top of it?
