I think the idea of that is they do it because they can. Really up until the last year or so when TNA started signing guys to contracts, the E could pick and choose who they brought in. So, I think they really have no problem firing and re-hiring guys when they're needed.
In fact, I think they should do it more in regards to bringing back former main eventers for one shots or short-term angles.
This was more of a problem in 2004 when they had a serious dearth of main-eventers on the SD side, but when you're the only (financially viable) game in town, the talent will come to you.

Me too. I think for a big guy he was severely underrated. He worked well with all types of opponents and moved well for his size. He had a good look and wasnt terrible on the mic. Maybe WWE is bringing in some of these guys like Test and Palumbo because they fear having to release some other folks over failing drug tests?

Originally posted by geemoneyFWIW, in Keller's audio update today, he has said that Moore has in fact NOT signed with WWE yet- he is mulling offers between TNA and WWE, and apparently, just talked to TNA today.
Shannon Moore has not signed with WWE as of this evening according to sources with TNA and WWE. He is considering offers from both companies - neither of which are said to qualify as a "bidding war" - and expects to make a decision soon. Moore was offered a contract by TNA months ago, but never signed it. A revised contract was being drafted at the time he received word that WWE was interested in bringing him in. A WWE source says Moore will not be sent to the developmental system if signed but could be immediately re-teamed with Matt Hardy on Smackdown.
